This video brings on lots of memories for me. I used to live in Australia and it have been the best four years in my life. I met so many cool people just like Dave, ones that makes you feel that life is simple and you should appreciate and enjoy each moment in it. Hmm.. I'm not sure about the bricks. They might crumble over time and can cause issues. Remember how heavy those racks are gonna be.. I think thick tiles or granite is better. If they break over time it's not gonna be a problem since the elevation isn't too high. Splashing is inevitable but the important thing is that they don't get soaked.

@@NiX_aKi Bottom line they still take the force/weight of a entire building on them. the bottom row takes the weight of the entire building. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJCvmKWYdtiig6c and dont forget that pressure point is smaller so the force is less devided. that 1 brick can take the weight of the entire rack including water and aquariums. so using 12 or so bricks makes it a non issue

@@NiX_aKi wel they all could take some really impressive force even ancient ones. i would perdonally use metal raisers for pergola's as you can adjust them over time when the wood begins to work but it wont break for sure.

For the wooden stands on bricks. Very good. To do that. A extra idea would have been to put a sheet of tar for roofing between the brick and the end of the wood. It will real close the pore in the wood to suck op water, for even longer time. But it is propebly to late no. You have must likely put water in the tanks now. Live long and prosper🖖😊
