Just a thought while the panels facing East for dawn -- if you face the panels to the south - they will receive light the entire day. In mechanics - as long as the panel faces the opposite of game shadows over the course of day - you increase the time the panel is exposed to sunlight. When panel faces east - it only gets sunlight in the morning and partial till about mid afternoon.

For me that is only true when far north when never the equator I find east to west better plus here there is an visual quality to it too

You absolutely can warp to Omicron. However, there is enough materials to scavenge that you can easily build a T1 starter CV - even a T2 CV is possible - at least it was in 1.9, not far enough into 1.10 yet to tell. For such scavenging you'll want an SV with enough storage space to hold medium thrusters so you can throw them into the blueprint factory. Most thrusters are on the DSE and capital vessel wrecks on Skillon and Masperon. And you'll probably want enough storage to hold for the major structural collapses of POI's, 10-16K storage will do. Needs wifi.

Yep, I have tested it and you definitely can. I have a custom SV for this I will go for early as I have a few tricks to get that jumping around. Then I will likely hold off a bit to get a nice size CV as the first CV :P wifi is a must on everything now

26:20 -- have you ever tried putting a Base Core in the ground within the area of ruins like these, to "borrow" the existing structure, and save on resources? So, like with your 3-wide Solar Panels, say you'd only need to build one support pillar if you can stand the other end on a piece of the ruin..? I think you'd only need to make sure that - wherever you put the Core down - you could still "connect out" from it to other blocks YOU build, but building "around" the ruins should (theoretically?!?) gain you extra free "structural support". . . . . . Yes? O_O Or "salvage down" available structures _(not otherwise connected to another existing (not-yours) Base Core)_ to gain those resources? I would think it logical enough (if not yet executed in-game) that "ruins" which might be deemed "old enough" ought NOT to be connected to a LIVE Base Core, making the structural resources "fair game" for salvage . . . -_-'

It would depend if it is already classed as having a core otherwise in theory it would be possible. Though in truth the concrete blocks are so cheap to make it's not really a concern to go nuts on the concrete if you want to 😉

So the hover bike is still super janky in the 1.10 full release. It is jarring for me to ride any direction besides reverse since those directions my view jitters up and down rapidly. Even Spanj has footage of it jittering. Edit: Even though I miss the flying I would be happy if the view didn't feel like the camera was drunk and falling down the stairs constantly.

I have also had the jittering though for me a restart of the game fixed it. Hopefully they will release an update to make it a bit let jittery

@@7ftdustbunny Sadly for me restarting did nothing if not made it slightly worse. I figure it has something to do with the fix for the "hoverbike can fly" bug from release candidate build as in the release candidate build the hover bike was buttery smooth for camera stability for me.

​​@@7ftdustbunnylso I see I'm not the only one to derp on a solar panel. I was like "Ugh I don't want my solar half in the ground." hit page up to raise it up. I looked at the solar panel slightly hovering and said "This seems fine." and placed it down. I've never had stuff fall to the ground like that before but it annoyed me since I barely had enough to build my 3 solars only to bust one right off the bat.

yeah if there is something vertically behind it I think it stays up I think it happens when free floating or only a block at a diagonal

That''s odd for me a restart has fixed it as you will see in tomorrows episode but now I will be retiring my hover bike at least until I go to omicron
