How to Build Underground Hangar Bases in Empyrion.

This is my BigBoy Miner, the Drill Orientation is 7 Blocks between each laser laterally, and 5 blocks vertically, for a total of 8 Laser drills, Limits conforming. I use a Base starter block as an alignment reference and Line up exactly on a North South, or East West Axis. I'm using Shift-Laser in the HV for a uniformly flat ground surface. The first HV run is done flat against the starter block, lower yourself completely against it. The next run I raise my top row of lasers 6 blocks higher, I re-align on my base block, and then I Raise my hover 0.5 Meters above the base block, this makes a perfect square for a 9x5 Hangar door. Later youll see me using Alignment blocks to cut Rooms into the walls with my "Omni laser", the alignment blocks assure that the frame for the windows will have a nice fit against the stone. I usually freehand this base type, but as a guide I practiced using these alignment blocks so others would have an easier guide & frame of reference for spacing.

Emperion is actually an underrated game, there should be more ppl playing Bc if it’s amazing RP features and multiplayer aspects that make playing all the better

Good place to set up i have made many underground bases my last one was on the Water starter planet, never left the water as there is a huge Biome down there, and have a underground base. though you still need a shield in the end for it, as that stinking bomber throws bombs and they ignore water density. Though have a 36 plot farm, furnace and Deconstructor down there now, complete living and ranked to 25 before going ashore lol great fun. And since the pistol and the RMB for the submachine gun works under water those pesky teluroids are what i hunt, instead of them hunting me. Now if only they had the water world as a starter in Vanilla i would do the same. Almost all the metals are in the water by the way. So yeah lots of grinding and the tree's are also down there to, use the survival tool to take them down for fiber. Be sure and dig down about 12 to 15 blocks to set your core and then bury it. Then those Zirax can't sit outside and take over your base, as it's out of their range. And making a digger or mole is easy to do, or just get one from the Workshop like the lady bug or one of those they work wonders, but I prefer to make all my own stuff myself. Also Spanj or JRandall has some and a 1,000 others.

в игре же есть для чертежей настройка чтобы он вытеснял блоки земли при стройке, построил базу в креативе, потом опустил её ниже уровня земли и все, чертеж сам выроет нужную ему для этого яму.

Good Job. Thanks for that. The only thing I see is that early on in survival on a MP server. One your not likely going to have admin rights to ghost into rocks, small point. Next being of Low level the laser drills hover craft, yet all this can still be done even with drill & a simple starter hover driller with the right techniques. Use of the [O] key helps a lot ;) =D

I built underground once, then an update came out, and after that parts of the base were covered in indestructible stone. That's when I stopped playing this game.

Not a public blueprint but Ive written the exact dimensions for the drill spread in the video description so you can make your own, it's not a complicated design, the drills simply need to be spaced at the right dimensions.

Are you playing Reforged Eden? This one is configured for Eden, but Vanilla has a different drill radius if im not mistaken. I can post the BP for you no problem, I just want to make sure it’s going to work for you.

Yeah, I'm building my base into the side and top of a mountain too. But I don't have a big drilling hover vessel like that. I have done all the work so far by just the hand tool. I almost have things set up to where I can make a small drilling vessel to make the rest of the base building go a bit faster. Also I'm using concrete for all the walls, floors, and ceilings. Can only carry 7 concrete blocks at a time, so it will still take a while to finish. XD
