Could you please do a video on how driving examiners may help students diagnosed with disabilities or disorders? Also showcase some mock scenarios of the examiner and student disclosing their disability or disorder including on how the examiner may help the student's disability. Examples: 1: Examiner encounters a student with ADHD. Student may have a lot of distractions and issues with nervousness. 2: Examiner encounters a student with Social Anxiety Disorder. Student may feel extremely nervous. 3: Examiner encounters a student with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Student may feel more nervous and sensitive. I think this type of video would be great for all students diagnosed with disabilities and disorders because the students may understand how the driving examiners will help students stay calm. I even trust that all examiners help students with many different disabilities and make adjustments for fair assessment against the student's challenges.

I'm not quite sure if they do anything differently dealing with applicants with special medical conditions. However, the examiners are very articulate and clear in the way they give instructions. And it's always a good practice to mention to the examiners if you have any specific medical conditions. I know you have already passed your driving test. How was your personal experience with your driving examiner?
@citydandad37533 ай бұрын
@@drivingtestaustralia in my experience, I am sorry that I didn't disclose my disability in the comment six months ago because of personal reasons. However, I honestly have ASD. I even didn't need this as a medical condition on my licence as the condition doesn't affect my performance against safety. Well, I disclosed me diagnosed with ASD to the examiner because I was feeling more nervous than usual, so the examiner could help me stay calmer and adjustments. However, I was able to withstand the nervousness during the test and the test was done normally. Well, disclosing disabilities to the examiner is important. I have met a few students at my school that have other disabilities (I met one student who has Social Anxiety Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder) and they did disclose their disabilities to the examiner because they were asking for help or urgency to keep them calm for adjustments. I also gave this tip to one of my friends that has Social Anxiety Disorder and ADHD.

How do we know if the line after the traffic light while going straight turns into a shoulder road ?
@drivingtestaustralia11 күн бұрын
Just by observing and looking ahead. It would be good if there was a sign on this specific road, letting drivers know that the left lane ends, but unfortunately, there is no warning

What is the speed range to be too slow for the speed limit? What is the minimum distance to be safe from the car before your car at the stop line? It seems to be a bit far from the car in front of you and from the stop line? Thank you.
@drivingtestaustralia3 ай бұрын
1. It depends on the situation. Where everyone is doing around 60 and the weather conditions are good, something between 55 to 59 is a good speed. 2. As long as you can see the back tyres of the front car touching the ground, you're good. This is a wide-angle camera, so it shows the distances farther than what they actually are.

MIS stands for mirrors, indicator, shoulder check. Which means the driver checks their mirrors, turns on the indicator, and performs a shoulder check.

7:50 I dont understand that "dont brake unnecessarily for other cars". Not like i dont understand rules but what if the other car is about forget about their giveway or are careless, so we shouldnt be too careful on that?? I feel often confused. My instructor at times say "How do u know that the person in the car is actually gonna turn (eg. Left) etc, so be mindful of the intention of the car next to u on the road etc. (Or something similar situations). I am wondering being a newbie its so HARD to figure out when to think about other's carelessness while driving!!! Anyone can explain to make my life easy in this regard.
@drivingtestaustraliaАй бұрын
By looking at the car speed and even looking at the drivers face, you'll realize that he is not going to go through the give way sign carelessly. If he is driving, he has a licence and he knows the rules. This judgement comes with more driving experience
