Uncle, My 2005 Pulsar 150's chain lasted for 65K KMS with gear oil. But new age bikes like Duke comes with X-ring unlike Bullet which is having a normal old tech chain. So understand the difference before advising!

Glad to know about your experience! I haven't used gear oil in my Duke for the last 4.5 years. But Duke manual also recommends 90 grade gear oil. 😕

നിനക്ക് ചെയ്യാൻ അറിയില്ലേൽ പറ. ഡീസൽ കൊണ്ട് ക്ലീൻ ചെയ്ത് വെള്ളം കൊണ്ട് കഴുകി... തുടച്ചാശേഷം... ഗിയർ ഓയിൽ ചെറുതായി അപ്ലൈ ചെയ്‌തു അതിനുശേഷം വണ്ടി ഓടിക്കാതെ 6മണിക്കൂർ വയ്ക്കണം. നീ അപ്ലൈ ചെയ്തു അപ്പൊ തന്നെ വണ്ടി എടുത്തുപിയിട്ട് ആരാന്റെ നെഞ്ചത് കയറിയിട്ട് കാര്യമില്ല

User Manuel ഇലിൽ gear oil recommend ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ.... ഞാൻ use ചെയ്യുന്നത് thickness ഉള്ള 140 grade gear oil ആണ് അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ എനിക്ക് 300 km മുകളിൽ കിട്ടാറുണ്ട്... പിന്നെ chain lube use ചെയ്യുന്ന ടൈമിൽ എന്റെ chain rust issue വരുന്നുണ്ടാരുന്നു.... പക്ഷേ gear oil use ചെയ്തിട്ട് അത് നിന്ന്.. ഇപ്പൊ rust വരുന്നില്ല...
