Cheers Marc,I’m very fond of the scent of Lilac, I spent a lot of my childhood up in an old lilac tree in my neighborhood, as a neighbor had an extremely wicked collie dog which pinned me up there many’s the time and I grew very fond of the good old lilac, true story. I’m not really interested in smelling like lilacs myself, but my hometown is lined with them so I enjoy testing samples with the note. En Passant does a beautiful job

I love the picture you painted and it makes me wanna get my nose on this. I've been a little scared of lilac in fragrances but I love the smell of them in nature, just never been sure if it would translate well if it was on skin

I remember this was one of the first fragrances I ever described as "beautiful." 😊 At the time, it was too fem for me, but boy would I have loved to smell it on a woman. Unfortunately didn't work that well with my skin chemistry, but I've yet to try a newer bottle.

Part of my fragrance hobby “journey” has come to just love scents regardless of wanting to wear them. Guerlain Aqua Allegoria line is a perfect example, I just keep them by my desk and smell them to take me away…much respect to the perfumer. Nice review congrats on 50k.

If you’ll permit an observation: I’m not sure you’re aware “simplistic” has a decidedly negative connotation. I think the word you’re looking for in these cases is just “simple.” Just thought you might like to know because the word does catch the ear when bundled among a bunch of positive descriptors and for a second it’s confusing.
