Great video. It's worth noting that Tesla now replace this for free if you are within the 8 year battery warranty, which you should be when this warning appears. Initially they charged me £260 for the job but when a friend had the same issue and it was done under warranty, I complained and months later Tesla refunded the charge.

This is newer, can tell from the easy access 12v batt, after 2016 refresh

How did he disconnect the wires from the High voltage battery ??

There are no wires to disconnect. The connection points ‘slot’ into one another. You have to be very careful when lifting the battery back into the car. If you get it wrong and bend the connection points, you’ve got big trouble.
