Reducing animation scaling is something I've done on all my android devices for the last 5+ years, and it makes the devices feel like they got a free speed upgrade. Highly recommended.

My evelopers Options settings are: - Animation Scaling all set to .5 - Smallest width: 400 dpi (not too small or too big, fit for me to use one handed) - Sensors Off quick settings on. But I have to disable first when incoming/make call because cant disabled it during call, different from Privacy Lock that can notify to disabled. - Default USB: No transfer - Force windows/activity to be resizeable - Force multi window AND since my phone have problem with Webview often to crash causing in app content not rendered. I install two WebView that can be changed in Developer Options, so don't have to reboot to restart WebView. This is really helpful for me.

1:26 I think the default usb configuration should always be set to "no data transfer" for security reasons. This will minimize the risk of unauthorised data access when the device is connected to untrusted system.

On OnePlus devices you can go into App Specific Refresh Rate and change every app to your liking, for instance on my OnePlus Pad 2 i can choose 144hz or 60hz for whatever app I want.. Very useful.

It's not possible to permanently enable it because banking apps in our country need to be disable developer options while they are in use.

Hello! Happy New Year! I am writing to you because I have an issue with my Pixel 8a phone which occured in the last 10 days or so. The issue regards the 'Now Playing' feature which apparently stopped working properly. It does not recognize music songs anymore. I have cleared the cache of Android System Intelligence app and deleted all information from the beginning, I restarted the phone several times, I even restore factory settings but nothing fixed the issue. When I used Android,up till about 2 years ago, I gotta good deal on a new iPhone 13 and couldn’t say no, but anyway I can’t remember exactly which option I always turned on in developer mode but it was something really useful and I wanna say it gave me more fps but I know that’s not right but it was something similar to that,meaning it was very useful in a lot of situations Ok,maybe it was for a higher refresh rate, I was thinking it was but wasn’t sure 🤷‍♂️

haha, google auto generated translations. wäre schön, wenn man das in den yt settings grundsätzlich deaktivieren könnte und außerdem sollte das in der sprachauswahl auch deutlich stehen, so wie es bei auto generated untertiteln ja auch da steht. damit man weiß, dass das der schrott ist, den man nicht auswählen will. dass die videotitel automatisch übersetzt werden ist schon schlimm. auch das würde ich gerne deaktivieren. wahrscheinlich wird niemand ein solches video mit ai voice translation anschauen. nicht zu ertragen. es bringt wahrscheinlich null mehrwert für den channel diese option zu verwenden. meiner meinung nach lieber keine sprachen anbieten als so einen schrott.

I just got the Pixel 9 base model a couple weeks ago coming from Samsung Galaxy A6 that i had since 2018. So it's night and day to say the least. But I did dip into developer options on that galaxy so I'm a little familiar. If someone could recommend at least 1 or 2 developer options I really should consider changing on my Pixel 9 could you please let me know, thanks a lot.
