Wow..EOS was our very 1st cruise in August 2001! It was our 3rd anniversary. Now February 2018, almost 17 years later, I see many renovation changes & still looks awesome! Back then, ESO was a 7 day Eastern Carribean...St Thomas, St Martin, St John etc. We were on deck 8 in a junior suite w/ balcony. Soooo many cruises since...Alaska, Jamaica (Oasis of the Seas), but the ESO ship holds a very special place in my heart bc it was our 1st cruise. One of the captains sat @ our table on a formal night. Free drinks & free pics! And...we were on stage for the Not So Newly Wed Game! Won 2nd place!!! Thank you taking me down memory lane. We had the best time! ❤

Thanks for sharing.. I booked this cruise ship for this Oct ant the itinerary is great and it's 9 nights. I know the ship is older, (1997) but my researched showed that it was refurbished in 2020. this video has given me the peace of mind it will be a good trip.

Such a beautiful ship. So clean looking and shiny. Out of curiosity, what time of night do shops close and what time do they open again? It looks pretty cool walking around the ship without crowds of people. :)

illijah009 I don't know. It's a great ship for short trips. Most of the time short trip cruise ships are older & smaller but this one is a nice size & a lot of fun.

illijah009 You'll be fine with an interior but if the upgrade isn't too much go for it.

Thanks for your response. The upgrade is an extra 400 for an ocean view cabin. So it would be 1400 total. For me and my wife. Worth it???
