I love your videos Coach Lee. Your advice is so valuable, insightful and has changed my mindset when it comes to breakups. I know I won't get another chance with my ex because he gave me so many chances before but I didn't know this information then. I had to break no contact with him because I needed a reference for a job offer I got in mid May, but I never talked about the relationship or break up so I don't know if that is good or bad. I know better next time when I get into a new relationship in the future. I don't blame myself for the mistakes I have made because he was my first boyfriend. Same thing with my ex, I begged and pleaded for her but she ultimately blocked me in the end and I felt devastated and defeated. But my entire mindset changed when I researched what I could have done differently. I wouldn’t want to go back into a relationship with her. But she was a good girl and it hurts knowing I made her leave me. But I accepted the consequences of my actions and I am taking responsibility for what I had done and taking this as a learning experience for the future. The most important thing I realized when she asked for time apart was that if someone doesn’t want you in your life, than you are better off without them. I know it is hard and it hurts so bad when someone you love says they want a break, but you will grow even stronger because of it. If you are here reading this right now, you are a really good person, and if they don’t want you in their life, then it is their loss. We all deserve someone who loves us and wants to be with us. I know your videos are from a couple of years ago but my boyfriend of almost a year dumped me, after an amazing weekend together, through a text. We are both 44 years old! I never begged him or pleaded. I was quite nasty and mean because his best friend has tried to sabotage our relationship since the day his(the bff's) girlfriend died of a brain aneurism. It has been the friend's M.O. for years to sabotage his relationships and has done it successfully. I gave her a little too much pushback and tried to force her to see that I was a good guy. Then out of nowhere I just stop talking to her thanks to your videos. Coach Lee is the best. I don't even listen to other breakup coaches anymore because a lot of what they say doesn't make sense or help you when youre suffering. I had a breakup after 4 years of being with someone and Coach Lees videos helped so much. We did end up getting back together but there was too much arguing so we split up again. But No Contact made me way more confident and strong, so the second time we broke up I was already used to the horrible feeling and just had to ride it out. It took about 3 months to feel normal. He did reach out after a month but I knew where it was headed and didn't want that again. Either way it does work, whether you're wanting them back or wanting more confidence and strength, or maybe to realize they weren't the best for you.

I’m so appreciative of this video. I have moments where I think I’m doing just fine and then it feels like I got hit by a train of emotion. I’ve been watching so many videos trying to educate myself. I have taken a careers assessment to maybe switch up my career and find something I enjoy doing if I hadn’t injured my shoulder I would be back in the gym every day I realize I made a lot of mistakes in the relationship by acting weak and needy, and I should’ve been more of the rock in the relationship, I think staying in no contact and with your encouragement is helping me to find my strength.

I am only about 10 weeks post breakup though it feels much longer. I am so glad that I did not beg or plead when my ex of around 15 months broke up with me. I was very angry because he broke up with me by text. I told him I hated him and that he was a coward. He begged me not to block him out of my life and that we could remain friends. I said no way I wanted to stay friends. He told me the reason was that he didn't have "the love feeling" with me, never had and never would. He said other things that really hurt me to hear. Then he said what a lovely and amazing person I am and that I deserve better (him trying to soften the blow). He broke up with me just before he went away on a camping and fishing holiday, and just before I started a new job. His timing worked well for him, but not me. Then he texted me twice over the next few days but I didn't respond even though I felt like I was cracking up and cried so much. I hadn't seen Coach Lee or heard his advice. At 3 weeks, I sent a brief text saying that I didn't hate him, that I wanted to thank him for being honest. That even though I didn't want this, I accepted it, held no bad feelings, wished him the best and now we could both move on and find happiness. He started sending me texts, asking for friendship. Wanted to see me. I said friendship maybe later, that I wasn't ready to see him, but am fine and moving on with my life. My biggest concern has been has been that he is contacting me regularly, and made no secret if wanting FWB, but I said no and have stuck with that He has said in recent times that he was confused at the breakup and was wrong about some things, but I haven't asked for details I found Coach Lee a few weeks ago, and listen every night before I go to sleep or more if I'm upset. I think I am doing all if the things Coach Lee recommends We have discussed meeting up. I am quite anxious about it although I do feel the playing field is more even. I'm cautious of my ex, and tbh, have conflicting feelings. Mostly, I want to protect my heart I think there is a possibility that we MIGHT get back together further down the track. Frankly, it would be way too soon for me right now. I do wonder now if I had done these things at previous relationships that life may have worked out very differently - all if my exes came back, but I had truly moved in by then and didn't want them. Mostly, I had met someone else and made the same mistakes all over again I see now that my behaviour caused attraction to lessen because I was too open about my feelings for them. I was always trying to be the perfect girlfriend so they wouldn't leave me. I just ended up repelling them. I developed strong feelings too quickly. Even though mostly, it was the men who initially moved too fast, I did myself a real disservice and a lot of hurt by not holding myself back, and not maintaining enough mystery. Hopefully, I'm getting better at all of this.

Unfortunately, it worked out badly. We are in full no contact now. My ex has dismissive avoidant attachment and I could not cope with his breadcrumbing ,not being valued, and so little attention from him, especially when I had a stretch of unemployment and he seemed not to care about me - I believe that's true. I think the only thing he cared about was sex. I was in so much pain and he said something so insensitive that I broke down and then shut down, felt empty, numb, nothingness. I don't want contact with him anymore, am working on my healing and moving on. I have gotten what appears to be a good job, and hoping to go on overseas holiday later in the year.

65 days, losing hope and feel slightly ok with it. Time to move on, she opened her fb up, took many of our pics off but left some. I removed some too and some tags. She took off the relationshipstatus, so I just hide mine. A lot has happened. People tell me I have to fight for her and go to her. I have to try one last time. I’m thinking I might just call her that I’m in town and see if she wants to meet to talk because we have unfinished legal matters plus her boxes of things, if she wants to I’ll talk to her, if not I’ll leave her things with a letter getting my feelings out and move on. Close my social media and keep focusin on me. Still some what confused but finally yesterday at day 64 I felt a little bit better.

Thanks Coach. I've been getting a lot of info from you. It gives me reassurance. I'm nearing the end of my hostility towards my ex gf. It's been 3 months now since last contact. We’ve been together for 2 1/2 years until he dumped me 2 weeks ago. 😩 At first, I begged him not to leave me but soon I realized that it makes him annoyed at me.
