It was a beautiful art peice that sends a message about how our lives are temporary. It is our primordial duty not as a society, as a species in general to repopulate for the next generation of human beings and so forth. You may be members of society. We may suppress and obscure what we are. But never forget. When all is said and done. Society can never change the fact we're humans and nature has us apart of a system far more primordial and stronger than society ever will be.

You gotta keep in mind that these things are obviously not human: Their nervous system is different, and so are their instincts- there are many animals/lifeforms that starve themselves, which their body is prepared for. Like moths(kinda) they can't eat after maturity is reached. The narrator even said they embrace starvation at the end of their life cycle lmao

MeatCanyon initially gained traction by subverting expectations and making something that nobody could’ve anticipated being horrifying. Now that so many people are familiar with him and his style, he managed to subvert expectations once more by making everyone think they’d be seeing something frightening but it ended up not being that at all. Truly well played

Why is this comforting my fear of death more than stuff that’s actually supposed to comfort me
@whitemagus2000
@whitemagus2000 9 ай бұрын
Mixed with the terror of death and no longer existing is the innate knowledge that it's alright. That this is supposed to happen. Strangely, as the last neurons fire in your brain, as it senses death, it floods your brain with with endorphins giving you a sense of euphoria and peace. You'll see a tunnel of light and feel calm. There is currently no theory, according to Darwinian evolution, as to how or why we would evolve a trait that doesn't improve your survival chances and only applies in the last few moments of life. Well, whether a nonsensical feat of evolution, or whether someone put it there for us, you can at least know that your last moment isn't going to be one of pain and terror.

Since honestly, as much as still grotesque and disturbing most of his works are, it's basically like some weird art short film that has great messages underneath. Honestly, when you just look behind most of Flashgitz's stuff, it's just kinda meaningless? But then, it doesn't hurt to have fun most of the time. These little dudes lived since the dawn of the world, and are seemingly invincible. To think of them dying, and to do so of old age, surrounded by their family for billions of years, to the very end, having lived a long and eventful life... brilliant. Even if some were expecting the minions to all gang and eat the dying old minion, or some other horrific thing only MeatCanyon could pull off, it's an oddly peaceful thought. The only thing can be said of this being strange, is the way they reproduce, or that they reproduce at all. Quite strange, but a great story, truly.

"beautiful" "wholesome" /facepalm I need to get out of here. So many people just full of shit so they can say "something nice" and cure their own need for validation. Beautiful? Which part? The teeth bursting out of the dead minions skull? Their march from the factory? The circle of minion life as described by Meatcanyon? The last one...maybe. Wholesome? Which part...the part where we watched an aged minion lay down naked on a forest floor and starve themselves to death? How about when Felonious almost snorted a minion like Tanjiro snorted that one guy. It was neither, you started writing your comment for social validation, and didn't even watch his show. Your community is a toxic one...I am honestly impressed with what this creator puts up with and filters out. You heard a David Attenborough impression, and those were the words that came to mind when you immediately took to the comment section in an effort of "NOTICE ME SEMPAI!!!". I'm not kidding, I wouldn't care about any of you flakes. If you are kids, well that's just wrong, his shit is clearly not for kids so you should probably speak up.

@@SpringDavid That makes some really odd sense that Gru would take an interest in them. He researches their species and helps give them higher survivability and in turn they help him out around the lab and do housechores. They aren't a low intelligence species, but their understanding does not go above that of an adolescent child due to their brain capacity and they aren't an aggressive or predatory species. Think something like the Oompa Loompas from Willy Wonka. However, they can still learn how to do complex things and even have their own language. I guess I just like to theorize and make up background information on fictional beings. Especially since the Minions are a semi-intelligent species, but what they lack in size or strength, they make up for in ingenuity.

This is an absolute beauty of a documentary, the tragic long life a minion lives through to grow its species after death. This video accurately and properly explains the circle of life for this indigenous creature and me must never look at a minion with an evil eye, for now it is known that their sacrifices are are necessary for their life to continue.
