What about a M.A.S.H. Style TBR? Each category could be a list of themed books. House you will live could be books set in house, hotel, bunker or home words in the title. Who you will marry could be romance books or about couples. Then you could play around with what MASH would stand for. Words that could make a fun twist like S could be Swap so you could swap out a book that you weren’t loving. Or it could stand for a theme like M for Mystery so you could make each book have some type of mystery element like the genre could be mystery or you could some how mix in something that makes it mysterious. I know this was long but I feel like this is something you could totally make work and would be super fun to watch.

Theme: wintery vibes. Books set in winter/ what you associate with winter (snow, cold)/ centred on a holiday that tends to occur around winter (Hannukah, Diwali, Christmas). A lot of thrillers spring to mind where people are snowed in the middle of nowhere if there are any left for you to read!

I LOVED Monday's Not Coming, Tiffany D. Jackson didn't waste a single word in that book and every moment has something to say within and beyond the plot. I sincerely nervous to read Grown with my book club in January. There's the expectations after my love of Monday's Not Coming and also my own personal history of dealing with and surviving specific relationships. I expect there will be a lot for me to learn about experiences far different from my own but I am concerned about the potential land mines that could result in tremors within my own mental health. It's such a weird way to go into a book I willingly bought and pushed to read in club (one of my book club members is one of the comments recommending Grown in this video).

@@ChandaElise Are you by any chance into artistic horror? There is a TV series called "Hannibal" about macabre relationships between FBI investigator Will Graham (who has a gift of empathy which allows him to re-live crime scenes from the killer's POV) and his psychatrist Hannibal Lecter, who is also secretly a cannibalistic serial killer. It's a story about their obsession with each other, how they are a part of a one, their minds are intertwined and they consume each other's thoughts and lives. As Lala was talking about metaphors in The Regrets, I was thinking "I know the story which has quadrillion metaphors about love!". It's currently on Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, so maybe give it a try! Also, look up "let me follow (will & hannibal)" video on KZbin to get a feel for the show.
