Very helpful! Thank you for making this. I see that you're using folders as frames, each "frame" of, say, color is actually a folder of many different layers on top of each other. This seems rather useful, I'll need to look into it. In my animations, I've just been sticking to a "One frame = One layer" style, but I'm seeing the upside to using folders. You're getting more complex shading, that's also easier to edit and keep track of. The basis of the flames needed this. Good job on this!

Thank you! Yes, stacking folders and linking them to the frame allows much more complex animation. At first, I struggled to make complex animation in Clip Studio, then I started to use folders and it really helped.

@@C.Wilson I should be the one thanking you! I've always intimidated to learn animation and your video just came at the right time. I'm literally practicing with CSP right now. Hope to learn from more of your videos!👊🏿

Can you please elaborate what you mean by him using folders?
@C.Wilson4 жыл бұрын
@@chavelier8398 Sure thing. So folders enable you to multi-stack colors when doing animation in clip studio, speeding up the process. I didn't want to make another animation folder because I like the Clip at layer below to add shadows and effects. When working in Clip Studio it kind of has this one layer equals one frame rule, unless you create multiple animations folders. So to go around that I link my folder to the frame enabling me to have multiple layers in one frame. I hope that this helps, if you want me to I can explain further.
