I typically watch this in my man cave but I watched this in the lounge room. I have 5 kids under 8. At first they're like omg dad is watching his fixing videos that he watches every day haha. Dad this is so boring.. a few minutes in and they're all sitting in amazement trying to guess what you're doing next, saying dad why did he take that off, dad why is there a tissue in there, dad is that real gold, dad why is he burning it and so on and so on during the entire video haha and they loved the kitty and the end result they were very impressed and so was I. Great job mate.

I have been following different channels of this kind for some time. I am fascinated by how objects from long ago are brought back to life. in vain you have specific equipment and materials for restoration if you don't have the talent and especially the passion to do something like that. @@NTRprojects Haha! I haven't though and really only have this one account. Lately, it seems that unless one selects to set their preferences to something else, KZbin will automatically push forwards comments having multiple people replying to them, all the more so if a conversation goes on back and forth. And so, as more people do get to read such comments first, more "likes" are likely to be given to these comments even though they may have not started as the most liked comment.

The 2 " clasps" on the underside of the lid usually have a thin piece of wire crimped into the end and are used for clearing the jet orifice in the burner. It can get clogged up with carbon deposits with use. Back in its day people would run car gas through these and the additives such as tetraethyl lead would play havoc with the burner. Best to always use a camp stove designed fuel such as Naptha. At least that what we call it in Canada. Thanks for the video

WOW! It looks as good as the day it was made. I've been collecting and restoring mostly single burner gas stoves for 30 years but I don't have this one (hint). Currently I'm working on one of the very few in existence Coleman model 1 dual burner stoves with the oven box. When I contacted Coleman I was told they don't even have one in their museum. The closest they have is a model 1A. My current challenge is to finding the original paint. Coleman used the same paint used for Ford's Model T. Once I get it done I'm going to loan it to them for display. Thanks for showing us this!
