I’ve noticed a lot of rap fans ending up really liking her music. I have to wonder if it’s because of the level of her writing. Her less popular stuff is phenomenal. She’s a huge rap fan herself (I’m just learning about her myself). Good writing is good writing, I guess. For her live performances, please start with her Reputation tour. About half way through I was thinking "this girl should do a rock album". 2:01 the thing is, Taylor has worked with amazing producers through her career... Across all of that, her beats, cadence, rhythmic lyricism, phrasing, etc., has always been exceptional. Because she co-produces on all of her music and is in the studio with the producers when they write and mix. She's involved in absolutely every stage of the writing and recording process. She doesn't write and record vocals and then hand it over to a producer. It really shows the most when she takes any of these big hits and does them acoustic, or completely stripped to just her and a guitar or on the piano with the song (Shake It Off is the only exception I can think of and I seriously dislike that song).

Do Ready for it, look what you made me do and don’t blame me from the Reputation tour live concert. In fact most of Reputations is great. You might like a lot on Midnights too. Highly recommend Exile featuring Bon Iver, My Tears Ricochet and This Is Me Trying videos from the long pond sessions on Disney Plus and All To Well short film music video. She actually has some great music videos. Most are written and directed by Taylor Swift.
