I think he went after Catherine because it galls Meghan that she is so popular. Catherine is everything Meghan isn't. She has class, elegance, kindness, sincerity, a strong work ethic, she's well prepared when she visits her charities, she's been able to gather leaders for summits, she's a natural beauty with an ability to wear fashion in a way the Meghan cannot. Meghan covets Catherine's reputation. So Scobie has to do what he can to destroy it. The books sounds heinous. It makes me sick the there are those who will believe what it says.

In the Apple+ interview Harry reels off all of the false info from Bashir as if it's the gospel truth. Their paid trolls have been accusing Charles of killing Diana for a long time, especially in the leadup to the election.

For that 'accidental' leak of naming Charles as the alleged royal racist, that's absolutely beyond the pale. These three really need to be ashamed of themselves. The petty, bitter, vicious and never-ending attacks has gone on far too long and the bridges are well and truly burned. If I saw them, I'd throw mud at them... I'm seriously so disgusted by this. They have absolutely no shame and no limit to how low they'd sink. Before Charles even met Diana, let alone her reincarnation, Saint Meghan, patron of anti-racism, he was working with the Prince's Trust to support impoverished people of colour. Ask Jimmy Choo and Idris Elba if they think Charles is racist. They directly benefitted from his charity. Charles has done more for his country than either of those two lazy grifters have done in their lifetime. Virtue signalling is not comparable to the lifetime dedication Charles and the RF have done for their country, the Commonwealth and its people. I cry out - SHAME!

William as a young boy would have seen first hand the stress and anxiety his mother was going through. It’s being said that Diana often confided in William. William knew his mother a lot more than Harry.

William being the older boy , and more intelligent would be much more aware of what their mother went through . As William has matured he will have been able to reflect what he saw , and had experienced first hand how his mother was reacting to the various situations. Harry was too young and has remained too immature to analyse what was happening when he was growing up . Harry still sees it all through a child's view point . He's still just a needy , spoilt brat . Thank goodness William will be king , and not the emotionally stunted Harold along with the viper he married as queen. 🤢🤑If that ever happened, it would be the end of the monarchy.

I believe Omid's attacks on Catherine strongly indicate that “someone” who is extremely envious of her had input in this book. Catherine is authentic, kind, and adored by the rest of the RF and people worldwide. She is highly talented in numerous areas, such as photography, playing the piano, sports, parenting, connecting with people, and much more.

Scabies reminds me of a pimply,love struck, 13yr old who adores the pretty, popular, 17/18yr old girl who is so far out of his league that it's risible. Only in his case it's Meghan who is the focus of his adoration. He is besotted with her, one might say in thrall with her. He will do whatever it takes to receive the merest crumb of approbation... and that makes him very dangerous, because there's no knowing where his obsession might take him. I wouldn't trust him within a mile of William and his family!

They have to pit people against each other so who better than Eugenie and Catherine, they've tried it with Eugenie and Sophie as well, plus Beatrice and Catherine, Sarah and Catherine, Sophie and Catherine. ANYONE THEY THINK THEY CAN USE AS CLICKBAIT to make money from.

I think this should be an end to the constant calls for the royals to take the moral high ground and repair the relationship. Nope- no one is obliged to like their family. A toxic person in your life can be let go regardless of their relationship to you and everyone moves on with people they trust around them. Naming Charles in the Dutch version is not a translation mistake, it was a deliberate or move. Mistakes like that don’t get through numerous drafts, editors proof readers and publishers unnoticed. It’s not like a kid running off some leaflets down the local print shop!

Agreed. You can't repair a relationship with someone who is actually making their living out of the relationship being broken, even if you still wanted to - which I'm sure the RF don't - because they will just keep breaking it. It is time to pull up the drawbridge now, and shut them out completely. Take it all away and let them live in the real world without any royal-adjacent privileges by association, by making it absolutely clear that they are no longer under the royal umbrella.

As a Christian we are to forgive, however, reconciliation is not the same thing. We can wish someone well in our hearts, a solitary act. Reconciliation takes two parties and it is obvious that Harry and Meghan have NO plans to reconcile and the Royals are not required to….they aren’t the problem. I admire the way the Royals take the higher ground. They are proving who they are by their never ending charitable work. Bravo for them.

Harry's claiming Diana was murdered for having a brown boyfriend. (He was her third brown lover.) From that he concludes that since he married a Black woman, "they" won't stop until she's dead. He also was listing all the crap Bashir told Diana as if it was true, (without referencing that it came from Bashir and was disproven)

Meghan is deluded in thinking the more they try to bring down the RF that her star will rise. It won’t because public opinion has turned and there is no “winning the hearts and minds” of the people. H&M have historically made bad judgements and it will keep catching up with them.

I believe Harry and Meghan are riven with unresolved anger that she wasn't given the adulation they both unquestioningly expected. She garnered increasing criticism from press, public, William & Catherine and even HM. That was entirely her fault. We allow the huge privileges of our RF in return for quiet public service, quiet diplomacy and many other contributions to society such as The Princes Trust. She showed herself to be more interested in celebrity seeking, attempting to monetise her position of already staggering privilege, seeking the limelight and twisting the truth to suit her narrative. Harry was the only one who was besotted with his "amazing wife" and unable to see what others saw. She seems to have exacerbated and exploited every single historic petty grievance this man has harboured. Factitious Disorder? Narcissistic PD? Harry is a fool and an unpleasant one at that.

You are right. The whole Bashir manipulation affair led to Diana dismissing her Royal protection. Her own brother was duped by Bashir. Had Diana kept her Royal security detail there is no way on this earth would she have been in the backseat of a car with no seatbelt on, and the car being driven at highspeed by a driver who had been drinking. I seriously do not think that Harry knew his mother very well at all. William was the one who pushed the tissues under the toilet door when she was crying. William has an old soul. He is a good man. Thanks for the review. Omid is a nasty little man, he is not a Royal commentator, and from all accounts - nobody will speak to him. The information coming out has Markel scent all over it.

I agree that H did not know his mother well - he was only 13 (almost) when she died, and had been at a boarding prep school, Ludgrove, since he was 8. So from that age he only spent school holidays with his parents, (approx 20 weeks annually) and of course these were divided between them at the divorce, so he only spent half his school holidays with Diana and half with Charles. 10 weeks for each, broken up into weeks or fortnights mostly, and a solid month or so in the summer. Not really a recipe for a child to get to know a parent.

Catherine was Harry's champion .....in the past. Look how they (for many years) smiled...giggled...exuded positive energy.. healthy and happy and fun. In fact all three (William)on royal engagements and family events...they were so happy! Then came along the super fame hungry (for Hollywood) actress. This interloper is very jealous of Catherine and her influence. Catherine was not putting up with the nonsense that came with meghan....So Catherine withdrew that support and then it all fell apart. Let's face it princess Diana would have loved Catherine...absolutely adored her and loved that she was looking after her precious boys. Diana would have seen right through meghan and they'd have fallen out in a very short while. After all, meghan has fallen out with everyone. She wouldn't have enjoyed Diana taking any of her limelight .... the REAL star of the show.

Your fair and honest review was by far the best I've heard/read since this ugly tripe began dripping its poison last week, and I commend you for telling it like it is. Apart from making me feel sick with anger it has made me feel really sad to hear what this odious little nonentity (can't bring myself to call him a man!) has said about Prince William, Princess Catherine, King Charles and Queen Camilla, none of whom are in a position to defend themselves! Oh, how I wish traitor Harry and his jealous witch of a wife were stripped of their ducal titles with immediate effect, followed a complete black-out by the world's media (both print and broadcast), so they're never heard of/from again! My sympathies also go to those two poor innocent children, whose lives surely will be affected negatively by their narcissistic parents' disgusting behaviour and treacherous lies! Something is telling me that their PR team are doing anything for the damage control due to the latest public appearance of William and Kate showing them in such unflattering light, while we can see and feel the tension between them in the car during the state visit; and the scornful stance that Kate gave to William once again this year for the remembrance day, they are now saying how thoughtful and caring William is towards Kate! Meanwhile lately there’s was quite negative and damaging headlines saying that William and Kate throwing things at each other while fighting and quarrel; additionally in the French magazine cover which says that William tyrannise Kate and he gets angrier towards her; those headlines are written even in French magazine and sites, and talked in French popular tv show; so their PR team will vividly trying to change the late narrative spew about the so called perfect couple. But here in Europe, whether it’s in Germany, France, Belgium, Danemark, Netherlands ect, the narrative about princess practically perfect and her so called perfect couple has changed this year; the irony is that only Kate sycophants are not seeing the hurricane coming to William and Kate, they will go back to the public scrutiny that they used to have before Harry and Meghan public lynching. This time it will be worse for the practically perfect royal couples… mark my words!

The Harkles are increasingly toxic, Hazbeen always looks miserable, the wife always has that rictus grin and looks increasingly unhinged, Scabies is being rightly being ripped apart for his stupid vicious book and, honestly, I fear the worse for them as they would be under SO much pressure! Thank you for including some backstory about the phone-tapping. As an American young adult during the 80s & 90s, I was only dimly aware of Diana & the RF & frankly, I just wasn't interested. I'm weirdly thankful to people like Harry & Meghan. They've opened our eyes to what some people are capable of in their quest for fame & fortune. They've been instrumental in exposing some of our most revered cultural icons & that needed to happen. Hello, Oprah!😊 I also now know how a grift works & some of the biggest players. I now know not trust any charity outside of my local ones. I can recognize a narcissist. I know what clothes don't look good on anybody. Most importantly, I've learned so much about Britain & other countries & "met" so many wonderful people that I would otherwise have never known existed, so yeah...thank you, Harry & Meghan.

Shauna, thank you for the comments on this. Everything heard so far depicts this as a (verbally) violent attack. The greatest concern shouldn't be whether the Royal Family is upset, but whether any mentally unbalanced person outside the family is. It only takes one disturbed individual a moment to alter the world; think of the murder of John Lennon. The problem with "Endgame" is it could result in an "end". And that is what makes ALL that Henry and Rachel, and their "camp", have done so inexcusable, reprehensible, and unforgivable. Lastly, what none of the Sussex side appears to have considered: any one of them could receive that disturbed attention...all that they've done may ultimately come against them in the most "ending" manner. "Reap what you sow" comes to mind. It's a dangerous game they've played. And regardless of whatever outcome(s), it can only end in tears, if only in the heartbreak felt by a father betrayed by a son. One can only imagine what Diana, Princess of Wales, would think of all that has occurred. Happy now, Henry? Rachel? Unlikely. You have to have character and integrity to find happiness.

I think at this stage, if H&M don't condemn this book in significant terms then it must be concluded that they are complicit. I disagree that they have 'firmly' distanced themselves from the book and Scobie has beaten around the bush in the most vague ways about his relationship with them. Only those close to Markle call her 'Meg' as does Scobie.

I think that between the three of them they don’t seem to have the remotest idea how transparent their machinations are. A clear warning for the younger generation. H&M didn’t piggyback off royal events - Netflix did! She doesn’t need the monarchy - it needs her! She doesn’t prefer grinning photo ops - Kate does! H&M are blissfully happy - the RF are miserable! You broke it all down so well. Nicely done! I never read the book. I just won’t. If I was the BRF, I won’t let these 2 back in any way. I would strip them of everything, even the Prince title. The jealousy and sick warped lens that is looked through by Twattledee and Twattledum are actually border lining on demented crazy. Prince Charles was willing to pay for Diana's security after they got divorced but she declined because she thought he would spy on her, she was paranoid especially after the Bashir interview, she went out with Dodi because he offered his security for her, and look what happened a drunk driver killed her Meghan has her paw prints all over this book just like Finding Freedom and Spare, but she sits back watches the trouble she causes and says, it's nothing to do with me, it's not my fault, she has learned by her mistakes not to write anything down to pass on after her last court appearance

The Prince and Princess of Wales have both honoured Diana's memory and legacy. I believe that William loves his mother very much, but also saw the more difficult sides of her more than anyone else, especially including his idiot brother. She leaned on William a lot. I really appreciate your honest and thorough review of Scoobie's execrable publication, especially your effort to keep the cost down by buying the electronic version. The only thing wrong with that is that you don't have the pages of the physical book to line the bottom of a bird cage, hang in an outhouse for the usual purpose, etc.😅

But, Shauna, having read a lot of books on the same topics, wouldn't you say this was Meghan and Harry's book? They are oozing off almost every page. Where else would this information come from? Omid is Meghan's close friend. We are not obligated to believe Meghan's gaslighting - she doesn't warrant the benefit of the doubt anymore, after everything she's done. No one truly knows or understands just how close Diana and William were. She confided in him rightly or wrongly as he was still a child, William saw his mother in the raw, and perhaps that's why he knew she was paranoid, and that's why even after her death he tried to protect her, unlike his petty jealous brat of a brother who is milking his Mothers memory for all its worth. I won't be buying the book, but i am grateful to you for giving us these snippets. I am waiting for the person who will write a book on Harry and MM, and if they run true to form and unfriend this plastic little man, He will be the one to do it, and that is a book i would buy. At the end of the day, in my opinion everything fall back on Hazzard. He is the one that brought this chaos and upheaval in his family. This to me is worse than what happened between his parents and what happened with Fergie. The late Queen was getting a premonition when she was in the church giving that strange look to what her grandson was bringing into her family, the lady shiver, to me it was like she knew it was going to be bad, she never lived to see that it was going to be ten times Diana bad.

The grey-rocking has worked well in letting them expose themselves for what they are whilst the RF preserves dignity and class, but I must say I think it could now be time for the RF to follow up with a firm drop kick into the long grass. I think it needs to be clearly shown that they do not have any form of royal approval or association, so that anyone who continues to align with them knows that doing so does not get them any sort of royal kudos. I think the RF have been trying not to poke the bear and make things worse, but it is obvious that appeasement makes no difference, and the attacks will just keep coming, so the next best thing to spike their guns is to at least ensure that any power or status they derive from being perceived as royal-adjacent is firmly blocked. If there was ever a good time for the RF to do this, it is now, when public opinion is very much on their side, so the blowback will be minimal. It is a window of opportunity.

For me, O gave as window to gave a glimpse of what kind of person that wife is and hasbeen but I think this is more of the wife because ofhow nasty the attacks on Princess Catherine is.
