Traveler lumine's version hits the hardest for me. I did this quest with both traveler in different accounts, but something about lumine's version hits harder, literally just like a little sister wanting her big bro to come home, or probably bcs she's a girl idk 😭

No same, I got WAYY different vibes from different povs... For me it felt like aether's va/emotions in the gentle way he talked to his sister and how he presented himself fit more in this version of things. Big bro/lil sis vibes From beginning to even when aether had his hand above her head in a caring, "see you later/take care", way. While for Lumine, I didn't really feel much, it felt like aether didn't fit that clueless boy role bcs aether's like more jacked in build when they were sitting😂, it felt weird. But being fr with lumine she was more detached and distant and I felt like aether pittied her in a way. When she sat and talked to aether it didn't feel right, almost rushed. Maybe as in because it didn't fit her role?? This version just fits idk how but it just does to me. I can actually understan or feel the true and genuine emotions here and it's satisfying and reassuring in a way.❤

The difference is that the Traveler used to be immune to tampering with "the world's memory". Unless the space Caribert created was a domain outside of Irminsul's reach, meaning that whatever happened in there could not be recorded.

Watching this part I really feel sad for caribert. He’s so pure. (I admit his character model is same with npc but for some reason he is so handsome I fell in love 😅). I wonder who are those people sitting on the tree at 21:17? Caribert and Atossa? The first and second crowned heirs from the BP cut scene? Or maybe they are the twin travelers in a time before the Heavenly Principles came and completely transformed the world by tampering with (or creating) Irmingsul to alter the memories of all living things in the world? That would explain why a certain character says that the skies of Teyvat are "fake". Who knows, maybe the Abyss Order need something as powerful as the Loom of Fate (and the Fatui need something as Powerful as the gnoses) to defeat the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles and restore the world to the way it was before. I created this theory within my mind because memories are gradually becoming an important subject in the world of Genshin Impact.

okay, i NEED to know if i was the only one who was actually SO ANNOYED over the "btw they won't remember any of this 😜" ending to this scene? like honestly to me it felt like such a cheap way of ending this scene between them, and i honestly don't like it. it just feels really unsatisfying to me and makes it feel like the reunion between the siblings didn't actually matter that much because of it. like yes, we learned a lot of lore and reasoning behind why Aether (in this version that is) is doing everything that he's doing, and somewhat as to why we still can't be together in our journey yet, but because of the whole "memory erasure" it feels doesn't apply anymore? like obviously it does technically and we as the players will know and remember it but it feels unnecessary to me to have the player remember and not the Traveler. like i assume what they were needing was a reason as to why Lumine would continue her journey after getting answers from Aether and so they went this route but it just always feels like such a cheap way out of giving an actual story reason. like i would completely believe a reason for the Traveler continuing their journey changing from needing to find their sibling to now wanting to find out more about the Heavenly Principles, Khanreah, the Abyss, the Archons, Teyvat itself, all of that big lore stuff in order to both understand it all for themself but also to help their sibling once they can fully reunite in their journeys. to me that still makes sense without having to put in what feels like a completely "unnecessary" twist to me instead of that. those kinds of "twists" just almost always feel cheap and unsatisfying to me in fiction because there a lot of times isn't an actual STORY reason they wanted to develop, or at least doesn't feel like there is. idk, as a writer myself i just get really annoyed a lot when media i love and am invested in pulls these kinds of "cheap" twists on me to keep me hooked or whatever, at least which is what it feels like to me. anyone else have any thoughts like this or am i just crazy and dramatic about this? 😂 wouldn't surprise me honestly 😂
