I've made this a few times n yes it's very good but , I need to tell u it's been around for a very long time , it was given to me way over twenty - five yrs ago . I think the reason it's so good is because of the cottage cheese ...👍❤️

Wow, does this sound good Linda. I'm writing this one down and putting it in my Easter file. That is a holiday we sometimes will have a cheesecake to add to the dessert list (we always have to have lemon meringue pie though). I love how you say 'full strength'. That is just how we refer to those products too. And for the fat-free kind we say 'fake' or 'faux' if we're being fancy, hahaha. I'll get the ingredients for this now if I can find them on sale and freeze them for later, since cheese is fine frozen if you're only baking with it. Thank you, Patty and the unknown New Yorker, for doing the research for this recipe and for sharing it. I can't believe you cut dear Sam such a teeny slice. And boy, was that a good joke, Sam! Don't fuss about that browning, isn't that why some people put on those sour cream toppings before adding the fruit? Hides cracks and whatever else. Thank you both so much for this lovely video. Edit: I also wanted to say that those of us who have Celiac family members can make this safely by just substituting gluten free graham crackers. Such a painless substitution, yay!
