tbh tho unlimited ragna is more painful to fight than unlimited hazama, I mean he can regen using your health whilst doing massive damage.

Miden Arithmos Sure, but not only do you fight Unlimited Hazama more often, he has complete control over the arena. With Unlimited Ragna, you just have to outmaneuver him.

but man, the CPU in CS (I only played CSII so maybe CS and CSEX has different CPU play style) is something else, unlike CP and CF, CS Ragna most of the time reads your input even before you finish it and then just spam INFERNO DIVIDER all the time. Even when I blocked his moves, My barrier always seems to diminish so fast that ended Me using neutral blocking which, His drives deals big chip damage while ALSO sucks out your blood. Unlike Ragna, Hazama doesn't have dp to spam (idk if His Unli. move 236B counts as dp like his stance ver. since the CPU never spam that move on me) most of the time He only spams chains and tries to get close to you which is easy to counter by spamming 5A and combo the heck out of him. So to ME at least hazama is less painful than ragna. But, let's be real here, Unlimited Mu-12 is the worst at that game. (Didn't mean to start an argument here, just wanted to let out what's on my mind about this)

I loved this first Terumi fight in BB:CS, where it start all slow and you discover the difficulty of the fight, crawl in fear etc, then the guitar riff kicks off, you know you'll have to pull yourself together to win this. :D

I'm playing BBCSE and Unlimited Hazama on the Arcade mode in Hell difficulty is one of the most annoying boss fights ever. I'm a Tager main and I just can't exploit his AI like I can to the rest, and his hits have so much block stun that it messes up my pokes ;-; Still... only took me 2 tries, but I remember back when I wasn't that good it took me 10+ tries with Makoto, my previous main :>

@@dsr95 I pity you. Back in OG Continuum Shift, Hazama vs Tager was literally a 10-0... no, 11--1 matchup. Tager couldn't sledge through the chains, therefore all a Hazama had to do was press D. It was bad enough that Tager players would literally just shake hands without a match because that's how suffocating the matchup was. Even with the CSE update the matchup still was hell for Tager. Combined with the broken power of Unlimited mode... yeah it isn't fun. Nowadays things are more balanced and the matchup is kinda fun to watch.

See, this is basically Hazama at his cockiest and letting out some of his Terumi personality but he's still fucking with you and knowing that you struggle while he doesn't even give a damn. They sure didn't convey it well in II, the original Endless Despair has a much better 'final boss' tone, and gives you the impression he's not playing around anymore. Terumi is the one who's in control when he fights Ragna though, so this is basically Terumi's theme before CP.

Mozgus the based god Except you kinda hit on a vital point in favor of II. In CS, it sounds like a final boss theme. Because he IS the final boss. But in CP, he isn't. He's just a major villain. So II doesn't have to sound like a final boss as well as being Terumi. It only needs to sound like someone who wants you dead. And it handles that nicely

Terumi isn't the final boss in CS, that would be Mu-12. Terumi is still the main villain of the series in general, and if anything Terumi should sound more like the final boss in his own appearance than he does in Hazama's body. Izanami isn't the main villain at all, if anything she's nothing more than a piece in Terumi's game to gain complete control of the universe.

Mozgus the based god No, the ending of Chronophantasma makes it extremely clear that, at least on that game, she outranks Terumi in the villain department. Hell, Central Fiction for him is almost entirely about him trying to get his status as Big Bad back from her. As for Continuum Shift, while I will concede Mu-12 as the final boss, (forgot about her to be honest) he is directly the reason you fight Mu-12 at all. He may not be the final boss but he is clearly the ultimate villain in that game and the song still fits with that.

Blake and Yang are free (even though they should already be in the game by launch and not an extra download), but the rest are still paid DLC even though they WILL be done by launch. Nothing has changed for the good. This practice is still some Cross Tag Bullshit.

Hence why I say they WILL be done by launch. I get they need to adjust hitboxes and other data stuff, but the characters are at least artistically done, and they can probably just use the old data for testing and go from there. Even the "new stuff" (Lin's new Super) is made of reused assets. These characters don't take long to make, so Mori has no excuse for half of them being locked behind a paywall, especially one that brings the game to over full price. For $70, I could just get SFVAE and the Season 3 Pass, or better yet, get the game for $40 and unlock the rest of the characters with in-game currency, something BB should take note of.

Chris Manning I like them equally. But Endless Despair is one of Hazama’s themes, his Unlimited theme if i remember correctly. It’s not really connected to Terumi as a character, so using Terumi’s own theme makes more sense.

I like Terumi songs but I can't say he has the best ones. I still favor Jin's (together with his versus songs) and the robot girls ones. Susanoo's however is an exception, it's kinda like Terumi actually showing his face instead of hiding behind a mask. Relius also have the most Hype themes, but only his originals are good, the other versions are below average
