Yo, the sampler in @bitwig is probably my fav way of creating soundscapes. All you need is to just sample some random crap and put it in textures or cycles mode to end up with some epic soundscapes. In this video, I'm showing how to create ambient pad sounds and drones in Bitwig’s sampler using recorded samples from synth presets, like the Korg M1. I start by recording a single note, load it into Bitwig’s sampler, and set it to cycles mode for a wavetable-like effect. I add voice stacking with spread modulation for a thicker, evolving sound and use random modulation on the sample position to introduce subtle variations. A band-pass filter helps focus on key frequencies, and I finish with reverb to create an expansive ambient space. This technique is versatile, and works well with various sample types.
