I like how when Izzy is asked about liking the color of the interior he says Yah, it doesn’t bother me. That is man speak for I really don’t care. Lol. Great video. I like the puck lighting just because in our Holiday Rambler, we can dim them. I do agree that if they were recessed it would look better.

I did spend 300 dollars a night, but it was at bluewater key RV resort in the Florida keys in April. But it had a tiki hut on the water with an outside kitchen and living room. 15 miles north of key west. But most of the time I like to go to state parks/COE campgrounds.

When my wife and go full time in the spring of 25 American Coach 42q is the top of our list. We might not be able to afford the Dream and get the Tradition, but the mechanicals of both are the same. The Dream has a nicer interior

I’ve always liked the American brand and that’s a nice looking coach. BTW, the vents in the battery bay are a must for wet cell lead acid batteries. LA batteries vent gas and must have ventilation to the outside.

These are our favorite coaches aesthetically. Hard to find a lot of reviews on reliability. The American coach interiors are almost identical to discovery lxe and palisades. Spec for spec not a lot different.

Nice review. Love the cedar wood closet & Samsung appliances. Not a fan of the dark colors tho. Like Izzy, I prefer the manual slide out trays but it appeared that the batteries were not on a slide out. For this price point, I’d expect that as a standard option.

MH manufactures would do well to listen to “super users” on design issues, both functional and cosmetic. These things cost too damn much to have so many easily rectified design flaws.

Great job reviewing this American Dream coach, MJ and Izzy. Very nice, seems comparable to a Newmar DS, except for the fact that you can option in the more powerful engine, which I really like. I know of no other coach on a Freightliner chassis with the 605 horsepower engine, usually at that power level they are on a Spartan K3 I believe. Do you know if they are still on the Freightliner chassis with the 605 engine? As an aside, we dropped our coach off at Independence RV yesterday for some service and noticed that their lot is chock full of new coaches, quite a few model year leftovers, including a couple gorgeous Mountain Aires, so probably some good deals to be had there. Our experience with Independence has been great, they are a very good RV dealer.

This is a beautiful RV! We have been looking online at motorhomes for a future purchase. Eventually we will be looking in person. If you had to do it over again would you choose gas stove or electric, diesel or gas motorhome? Any suggestions on a forum or group that compares motorhomes, issues, etc… ? Appreciate you both! 😊💕

Another beautiful RV which I really like. When the prices fall it might even make the list. Those soft close doors would drive me around the bend as I’d have to stand and make sure they shut. I notice that Michelin tyres are slowly disappearing from most new RVS but is this saving being passed on? I doubt it somehow 😉

I’m with Izzy - I’d rather the $$ go into really meaningful areas rather than power trunk slides, which is honestly not a necessity. The interior is beautifully done, but the color scheme is cold. Like you, MJ, lighter, warmer woods.

A lot of dough for this coach, the woodwork is not walnut, oak, cherry, alderwood, etc. rather cheap. Squeaks and rattles will be appear quicker than you may think.The older coaches had far more quality. What the new coaches offer is the electronics, which when non-operative, good luck. Less expensive countertops, storage outside compartments, insulated poorly. The older Foretravels, Country Coach, Vogue, Beaver, had quality, I mean quality that these and other new ones really don't compare, of course excluding Newell, Prevost, and Foretravel's. Look at the slides on the three I talk about, no square sharp corners, no frames around the slides, painted underneath, etc.
