Ben is basically hitting grandslam after grandslam with these videos. The content is better than 99% of all KZbin fitness channels, which are basically a waste of your valuable time and energy.. The funny thing is much of this stuff is basic common sense with an extra dose biomechanics and nutrition. We live in a vast information age and very few have bothered putting all the pieces together like this.

A lot of this stuff is very interesting and I have no doubt you are implementing what you preach Ben. Understandably with your business, family, and travel you haven't had the time to compete. Will we be seeing you on stage anytime soon again. I can't wait to see how all this knowledge will translate to your physique in the coming years.

I train according to what Goku told Gohan while training to beat Cell. Which in real world terms came down to being able to become comfortable with staying at maximum exertion as long as possible. With the optimal mix of strength, endurance, flexibility and speed. No bulky cumbersome muscles. Just lean mean power. If you take off in a sprint those first 5secs, the longer you can extend being able to output max effort the stronger you are.

There is a contradiction towards the end of the vid imo. Pakulski talks about how some have 'too much intracellular space' with too much fluid and other sarcoplasmic hypertrophy stuff which is true, but thats only caused by too much 'aerobic' (high reps)...and the video is talking about how everyone lacks aerobic training...pls correct me if im wrong..very good video though

What are the best ATP supplements? Anyone know any?
@philumber
@philumber 8 жыл бұрын
+J Plap Adenosine 5-triphosphate alone is not orally bioavailable. I personally use Peak ATP and creatine.

+philumber do you notice any real results or is it just all hype? You know how all these sups are all hype and all scientific studies that support their claims and then you try them and they are not worth the tube they come in

Ben, you have to include medical research on this topic in video description, because you are starting to enter bro-science realm. And hard science is needed to keep you above murky waters.

Doc, with all due respect, your ATP lesson was not on point. Glucose is the main energy source for ATP driven reactions, hence the consumption of carbohydrates. When we use up glucose through glycolysis, we produce ATP alongside other by-products like pyruvate acid. Lastly, ATP is not a vasodilator..... -_-
@philumber
@philumber 8 жыл бұрын
+Cirenio Pizano He was talking about creatine as a direct ATP precursor. Might also want to look up the term ketogenesis. And yes, ATP does induce vascodilation.
@cireniopizano4506
@cireniopizano4506 8 жыл бұрын
philumber How is ATP a vasodialtor? The mix of Epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine induce vasodialtion. If you mean that creatine shares it's phosphate group to ADP to form ATP then yes your right. But lease keep in mind that can't happen unless we use up glucose first. Glycolysis has to happen to form more energy.

More energy in the form of ATP.

But ATP is not the initial form of energy, biochemically speaking.

to bad you didnt listen to him, instead you wanted to be show off, what do you explain anyone know that even brain less. By the way if your are on Ketogenic diet, your will use Glucose as energy? "your ATP Lesson was not on point?" give me break.
