hey, i have a question about this ! lets say your body were to use carbs better than fat, would you say its "bad" to consume them in one meal together ? with that being said, in that case, does the body use the carbs and store the fat from that meal ? -in that case better to eat them separately ? thanks !

Good but what about low glycemix foods? They dont trigger insulin as much

Ben when i think about what you say it seems to me that 'supplementing' your protein rich breakfast with fats is unnecessary. The fuel your body needs after breakfast will be - depending on the kind of activity - mainly be drawn from body fat and a bit of gycogen. Even more so, why don't you fast for the few first hours of the day with the addition of an anticatabolic agent like HMB, and by the time that wears of (depending on the dose) go back to stimulating protein synthesis properly?

I am currently working on my PhD in Cellular and Molecular biology (already have masters). I would LOVE to do research in this area (either as a post doc or to finish out my doctorate). Do you know of any programs that have this type of research? I have been searching but the level of safistication you are presenting here is hard to find

Look into Dr. Jacob Wilson or DR. BILL CAMPBELL.

the ONLY study they keep referencing to support the theory of "metabolic programming" ie high fat breakfast, was a SINGLE STUDY PERFORMED ON RATS. So what if you eat carbs for breakfast and stop burning fat? When the insulin levels fall, you go back to burning fat between meals?

Hey Ben just curious to ask you, why do I lost quads deifinition when I have the pump in my quads area compared to upper body pump?
@pelikhano9 жыл бұрын
+Teo blacks Probably because more fluid stays in the legs since it's closer to the ground, more fluid means less definition? Just a thought...

Hi Ben, some advice please? Currently I am only able to gym early hours in the morning before my work shift. Im trying to burn belly fat, would you suggest a small meal the hour before I get to the gym? Or fast and 30min into the workout consume carbs to help keep the body going at maximum performance?
@Giustezzart9 жыл бұрын
+Bruno Cutrupi Bens advice is only to eat protein and fat in the morning, even before the workout. So eat some eggs or sth like this and keep the carbs for after training.

I prefer videos to the PodCast... just take the audio from the videos and podcast them.

So we got to get used to a high fat diet and low carb forever to not lose muscle? Depending if we are insulin sensitivity or insulin resistant
@maanvlam9 жыл бұрын
+Steve Jimenez kind off but its less narrow than you're making it look like. you need to be able to tie your carbs for when you need them and make your body use fat as energy fuel when you don't need the carbs. you need to know when your body is prone to use carbs and when it uses fats. once you know that you can time your nutrients, once you know that you can train your body into being flexible in using nutrients.
