It has a lot to do with which person you find more likable or pleasant, or you have more respect or grant something for him, that means it also just not have to do with logic but also with emotions, and he is very charismatic

4:58 "muscular contractions cause your heart rate to go up and your body to metabolize more fat" although cardio does not create muscular contractions even close to similar to weight training, how does cardio not elevate heart rate..? and in turn cause the body to metabolize more fat..?
@98danielray9 жыл бұрын
He wants to use Cardio further in the prep, so he doesnt do it until there is need of it, while maintaining the metabolic rate as high as possible
@dubson9659 жыл бұрын
***** great points. i agree with that logic, i guess he just worded it poorly. although, the heart is a muscle too.... it should also be worked more directly with cardiovascular exercise at least some, and not just with short rest period weight training....
@shelleywallace12286 жыл бұрын
It’s just common sense but you have to live this to know how and why it works... I see the logic in this for sure. Thanks Ben for making this achievable... finally!!

Hey Ben, What would you suggest then if someone is overweight wanting to lose fat/weight but are initially only eating very low cals anyway? How long would you work to reverse diet them on higher cals before attempting fat loss again?
@hex40apy717 жыл бұрын
Hire the man for god sake to make your diet/training plan...its the best money you will ever use. You will 95% for sure fail by your self. Sadly why you are in the situation you are. You need professional help. ( you sound by someone who seriously need expert help )

currently at 1800 calories 5'7 175lb about 10% should I increase cardio, or take a week to ramp up my metabolism by eating at a slight surplus of 2500-2700 cals? My weight has stopped dropping for 1-2 weeks now
@98danielray9 жыл бұрын
slowly increase calories than slowly decrease them

I will train 3 to 4 day a week leading up to comps, all weight training sessions and a 20 min bike ride before training legs with abbs. Maintain the muscle and Loose fat slowly. I increase my fats to about 100gm a day. Fish oil, Olive oil and Other Cold Pressed Seed oils. At the end result of 7 to 9 weeks of dieting I haven't lost any muscle cos i can lift the same weight as at the start :) Once you know your Body it is easy. Just eat Clean, Drink, avoid Addictive Stimulants, Try to have no stress out side the gym, Meditate and get your sleep. I'll still have a banana before bed so I get the deep sleep, so my body doesn't wake up and I'm not in full blown KETOSIS while I sleep, or This will push your stress hormones up Very High :)

BEN what means 10 workouts per week? 10 days in a row or in some days double workouts?
@samin_fitcoach9 жыл бұрын
+Lennyism double workout he does that for 1 bodypart a day for example heavy chest in am then hyper chest in pm(giant sets,time under tension,drop sets super sets etc.)
@98danielray9 жыл бұрын
it means he works out up to 2 times a day for five days than rest for two or maybe have rest days in between.Either way, two workouts on different tomes in a day
