Energy Works Hull BBC Look North Footage

Spencer Group is helping to create a state-of-the-art powerplant in Hull, one that will produce energy from household waste. The projected waste consumption will see 250,000 tonnes of rubbish diverted from landfill, burning it instead in an environmentally way to drive turbine electricity generators.

I am an engineer`s daughter, and have worked alongside others on engineering projects. I have said to people, that wheat we need is plant for recyling waste, and produce our own energy from it ... and it has finally been done in this country. Yeh ... Now we need these plants all around the country and we can be self-sufficient when we come out of the EU.
