That’s the responsibility of the legal system and mental health services. Let than man have the same freedom as any female victim would. Because his stalker is crazy doesn’t make him any less a victim and come to think of it what stalker isn’t crazy?

I’ve seen Morgan criticize Gadd for putting in the Martha goes to jail part for not ever actually happening, but that’s one of the parts that’s fiction. I think the reason he had his tv show version of himself able to get his stalker thrown in jail is because that’s probably what Gadd wish he had done in real life with his own stalker. He wrote a show from a place of reflection on events that had already transpired, so of course he’s gonna have his characters make the same mistakes, but ultimately able to be more enlightened in the end as he was when we wrote the show. But what is true was there being an article about Fiona stalking her ex-employer and her family. Even though she denies her English version of a restraining order that she had served to her, by saying it was a filing error, which is a wild lie, that event and article does exist. Fiona and Martha are mirror opposites with the lies they tell, and the way they name drop having lawyer friends and connections and also criticizing Gadd’s man hood and his line of work. Gadd was able to portray his stalker down to even the smallest of mannerisms. I do believe there are over 40,000 emails, and that there was over 100 letters sent to him. And that he does have every single voicemail saved from Fiona. And I also bet he is being triggered emotionally by that fact his stalker was on tv. Gadd is a brilliant writer, and did what every single writer and creative ultimately dreams of doing with their own personal past trauma, which is write your trauma out and put it in front of the world as a way to convey your journey in life, as the journey may align and enlighten another in their own drama they live through at this very moment. Baby Reindeer is brilliant and truly cinema at its finest.

Well he might be forced to in court. What he should do is do the right thing and clarify what is the facts and what he added for dramatic effect. I actually don't blame him, I blame Netflix for repeatedly claiming this was a true story and misleading the public. Richard never claimed that, he's always said he changed some things in the story. As for him being frustrated about Internet sleuths he should have expected it would happen. Of course it would happen. And I feel now he does have an obligation to specify what is fact and what is fiction because Netflix, who he partnered with, mislead the public on this. Although I imagine lawyers are strongly advising him not to. Especially Netflix lawyers. As for Fiona it's clear she did stalk him along with others, but she also still has rights like anyone else. Just because she did certain bad things doesn't give anyone the right to lie about other things. And I'm definitely not saying Richard lied. Like I said he's always been honest that he added things for dramatic effect. It's Netflix who misrepresented the series by claiming multiple times in promos, on their website, and also the beginning of the show itself, then under oath in the Scottish Parliament, that this was a true story. The Netflix rep at parliament even called her a convicted stalker, which unless they have evidence they haven't released to the public or the Scottish Parliament which they specifically requested two weeks ago proof of conviction, it looks like it's a complete fabrication. Again. Not Richards fault. That's on Netflix.
