Trauma is part of living, from family deaths, accidents, assaults, a whole list of scenarios with no avoiding it whether you think so or not and we have two choices: either learn from it and become sometime more or curl in a ball and hope to die. She is stronger because of it and I’m certain she thinks that.

Well I thank my trauma everyday. It doesn’t make me weaker or less than because of it and it helped me be stronger and yes I had to be strong as well but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and without those things can you really say your strong? 💪 I’m stronger because of it not without it and wouldn’t change it and I also wouldn’t want to go back to it but now I can help others and tell my story.

Ur trauma makes u who u are today no matter what angle you look at it. Whether you thank that trauma or not is entirely up to you. But people thank that trauma to show pride in what they went through and demonstrate peace with the fact that they went through it and survived. No, no one should ever have to go thru it. But u can't say it didn't shape u. U are who u are today because of the life you lived up to that point. You can't sit there and feel bad for yourself either

Currently reading the memoir now and I’m heartbroken,anxious, and angry at the same time angry that her mom did so much damage and caused trauma- all net cared about was the people around her especially her mother / been waiting so long to read this masterpiece and it really is a great book .(so far,).

I’m glad the iCarly cast were the only real humans to support Jennette, it shows in her book how much they meant to her, them and Zoran from the Sam and Cat cast, while brief, she did mention him carrying her out during a massive panic attack
