That would be sweet! I think ford brought back the 69 mustang GT for the 50th anniversary and it got an updated suspension and a new 5.0 in them with digital dash they look so good!

The prelude may not be the fastest or best handling, but it is by far the prettiest. My white 98 gets complimented all the time;) And the vtec cracks sooo hard!!!

Honda Prelude While I own a Honda Prelude, I will be the first to admit that the Honda Prelude is pretty heavy and doesn't have the best Power to weight ratio. In a real race with high speed corners like on this track, the weight becomes a real detriment, especially when everyone involved is a pro racer.

I had a 98' Si, which was destroyed by a drunk driver, but then as a replacement got a 2001 VTi-R which had the VTEC (These are Australian models FYI), but I agree, amazing cars, I still miss them both to this day.

I got a turbo 4ty gen it's my fav car I've ever owned I mean the fact that it makes a bit more then 400 whp helps alot but I love the look of mine on the tes it's the dash and the bubble fenders that get me

It definitely looked the prelude was the quickist or perhaps 2nd. You could see it pull away or staying even from the others but wasn't getting raked in.. Not sure why people say it's heavy? Yes it's the 2nd heaviest of the bunch but we are talking 40kgs vs the s2000 and 110kg vs the "lightweight" integra, that's bugger all weight difference really especially when it had the most toque of the bunch. S2000-1270kg-237hp-217nm Integra-1200kg-195hp=186nm Prelude-1310kg-220hp=221n Civic -1100kg -185hp=160nm Torneo-1400kg-200hp=196nm Remember kids Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races

Acceleration is average horsepower. The S2000 with only 5Nm less but 30hp more at the top is going to pull away

アイルトン・セナのCMで刺激されて プレリュード(BB1)SiVTEC・4WSに 昔乗ってましたね。H22Aエンジンは 当時のN1レースでも優勝したりした 名機のエンジンだからVTECが作動して ハイカムに切り替わった時の加速や音の 変化は最高でした!4wsも乗りにくいとか 言う人も中には居たけど、慣れたら逆に 小回り効くから狭い路地や車庫入れがFFと 思えないくらい小回り効くし、内輪差が 無くなるから逆にリアの内側を擦ったりも しにくいし、高速域で車線変更の時も車体が 横揺れしなくて安定したから雨の日も安心して 高速道路とかも走れたから、超良い車でしたよ♪ 当時のF-1の車体の横に書いてるPowerdByHONDAの文字に憧れて自分の車の横にも左右に同じ文字の切り抜きステッカーを 買って貼ってたのが、今は良い思い出になってます。

トルネオはユーロR所有したし、SIRも乗った。どっちも素晴らしかったよほんとに。また、そう言うセダン乗りたいよね FFセダンでありながらオーバーステアをコントロールできる車体、脚、車体を引っ張るエンジンとデフ、すげぇまとまりの良い車だった

@@leviwrigley5260 the chassis your civic has is called an EG6 chassis, yes it does have the double wishbone Honda put in from stock. Most Hondas (and Acura in usa) has the double wishbone from those years. Altough your civic has the d15 motor with only 75 HP you'll still enjoy corners on backroads with proper tires and suspension. Just don't expect going up hills your engine will struggle. Also that chassis you can swap your engine out for a d16 vtec or b Series motor for cheap, aftermarket parts for Hondas are almost unlimited just don't get unto cheap ebay parts.

From my experience the Honda s2000's rear is light making the car drift a lot. But with proper suspension and tires it'll be easier to handle

They are not quite easy to drive hard. As someone said here Ap1's are pretty hard to control . The rear end goes in all directions in stock form. I had many Hondas and it's by far the most dangerous

@@DanteJDM my dad and I own one each, the are fragile as they come. And don’t get em near any snow or sand states. Corrosion will eat them em up faster than other cars.

@@heberlara6079 I put upgraded pads and brake fluid in mine and took it to a 3 track days so far, along with being my daily with just over 200k mi on the odo. No way are they fragile, you just gotta take care of them. Although, I'm fortunate enough to live in a car-friendly climate which does help

@@DanteJDM the steel they used in these cars wasn’t the one they used in civics and any other Acuras. Don’t get me wrong, I love these cars they’re amazing but the corrosion gets them every single time. Compared to my 1995 240sx almost no corrosion.

the prelude is not a bad car, it was not very popular in japan for whatever reason and not the first choice when u had honda's top of the line: Type R. Jun auto tuned a prelude and it was very good according to tsuchiya and friends and even ran against the amuse s2k touge monster

Not quite. In dry conditions 4th gen 4ws has 1:10 on Tsukuba as fastest lap ever made by a 4th gen . Slightly slower than stock S2000 and Dc5

Если так посмотреть, то сивик в огромном плюсе, s2000 случайно вырвался, а Интегра пропустил по глупости, был бы с нутри кольца то занял второе место. А так, относительно лошадь на вес авто, у старика больше, странно что он не финишировал первым. Многое зависит от пилота. Интен было посмотреть в бою на все эти машины)

Preludes only had one problem and it wasn't handling.. it was the electrical structure..

It was just the top of the range Torneo before they released the Torneo and Accord Euro R. It’s a good car and quick, quite rare now though, even more so than the Euro R at least outside of Japan it seems. The Euro R is a quicker car and handles better though. I actually own an Accord Euro R myself.
