As Native Japanese, I think both of you found a good point about moral that actually it is nothing related to religion. It comes from each of families, social and becomes a Nation. Please don't listen some spoiled projects. Keep up healthy mind and work ( study)! We are happy to see that both of you are in Japan.
This is exactly how i feel too. Growing up in japan during childhood is critical for me. Especially during those years, where we have critical and essential development. So i feel like I always have sort of 'attachment' to 'come back' to Japan again, eventho Indonesia is basically my home country. And the points kak zhaf told abt Japanese things that's not commonly seen indonesian is soooo true 😭 it's still hard for me to compromise, like why people are late, why they throw trash easily everywhere. Those things naturally make me frustrated

Thank you very much for this video! I learn a lot from your experience, and also it feels nice to hear you guys speak in 2.5/3 languages. It must be hard to put two subtitles for all of us to understand, but you did it, so once again, thank you!

Emang begitu realitanya sih. Aku semakin mengenal banyak ragam budaya dan negara selain Indonesia justru buat aku semakin membuat Indonesia lebih menarik lagi.

I can relate to this soo much! When I came back to Indonesia my grades were awful. The lack of queueing culture and the lack of respect towards other people really surprised me. (kesannya kurang menghargai org lain) I've never had an identity crisis (probably because we only lived abroad for a few years and spoke Bahasa Indonesia at home) but watching an Independence day ceremony live truly made me feel at home. Back then I wished we stayed abroad but now I've come to realise that it was probably the best decision since I had forgotten a lot of religious practices and studies. I wish I could visit UK again someday

Your brother speaks in Kansai-Ben (??) Very cool! Absolutely agree with your 3 points, that’s exactly how I feel about living in Indonesia as an Indonesian who grew up in Australia. Great vid, keep it up!
Ini tuh keren banget abangnya bilang gitu. Dia semacam versatil aja gitu, ga perlu merasa dia harus beridentitas apa. Karena toh dia merasa owning both of his identity, as a japanese and also an Indonesian. Gitu. Baru akan kerasa gitu, kaya kalian beneran berasa biasa aja dan bukan berasa ekspat.

Ga juga sih, even saya yg besar di Indo cukup finding out clash of habit aja , kayak yg dibilang kadang ngomong itu kek topiknya ga nyambung bgt, like pengen ngomong serius eh malah sering temen2 itu bawa ke topik yg ga faedah padahal pengennya deep talk. Kalo ada topik kehidupan malah ngomongnya cinta mulu, aduh bosan sih actually. Padahal kita sama2 ttanggaan but gitu deh emang itu tantangan besar ya kalo buat bbrp org. Trus bener tuh buang sampah dan organisasi barang , org rumah gw parah sih kalo soal ginian, serumah satu kultur but so different suka buang sampah sembarangan , ga peduli lingkungan , males bawa plastic bag malah asik bawa pulang plastik trus ga dirapiin lagi. Kesel banget. Ngerti bgt sih gw perasaan mrk. But balek lagi emang ada keindahannya sendiri di negara kelahiran sendiri wkwkkwkwkk

My brother used to always ask my parents why they returned to Malaysia from the UK and not just stay there. He was the only one born there. Looking at my parents perspective, growing up we begin to understand their worries especially in terms of our muslim identity etc. That was their main concern and it wasnt easy back then to maintain. Now it is much2 easier to adapt there alhamdulillah..

Hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri hihi. Setiap negeri ada kelebihan masing2. I do agree on 3 points that mentioned by ghazi yet the most thing we hv to grateful enough is - we born as a muslim. Kat jepun morality mmg tinggi, in some aspects they are more 'islamic' than the 'real muslim' cuma dlm hal lain some of them even hv no religion jd its not surprising kes suicide kt sana tinggi. Muslim yg mendalami agama takkan lose hope, they hv faith that Allah sentiasa ada utk mereka.
