Однажды Димаш обратился к композитору К. Дуйсекееву с просьбой разрешить ему исполнить песню "Карагымай". Подумав, композитор согласился, но попросил ему первому показать песню, когда она будет готова. Сомнения композитора были связаны с юным возрастом певца, так как в этом произведении отражаются отцовские чувства к дочери. Автор песни был потрясён, когда Димаш показал ему свою версию "Карагымай". Он крепко обнял молодого исполнителя, дал ему своё благословение.

Thanks to you dearest Gloria Wu, I can feel the love, excellent video, and the Dimash sound, everything he does is perfect. I have read something about this water scene, Dimash uses to work out in water for training his lungs. In some of his songs, he keeps the tone very very long. I don't know if its true or not but I guess that his tremendous voice is hard work and training. He has a small body but lungs capacity beon normal.
