if you're unfamiliar with how WL events work, they're 10 chapters long (intro, 2 chapters for each character, then outro), and are staggered by character in terms of release. the two Rui chapters I'm translating take place *after the event's intro*, which is up on @tsukasa1705's channel, and will be followed in a few days by Nene's chapters. please only expect new chapters when the game actually releases them!

gahhh I feel like the zombie pushes are a reference to wonder Halloween with the zombie robots and stuff.. and how the zombie plushes are misunderstood and believe they’ll never fit in, ppl get scared just from the plushier saying hello..but rui greets them in the way others get scared of, and gets reminded of how things used to be for him so he wants to help….eughhh he’s a rly sweet person 😭😭😭

I can't decide wheter this is just too adorable or more sad. If the zombies really reflect how Rui used to think the line "We can tell you're just pretending to be friends! Deep down, you're probably scared and disgusted by us too!" and how they've given up on trying to find any friends at all made me feel so damn sad for past Rui.
