1:59 i think this soraru-san's mental and way of thinking really reflects his experiences and his long history in internet. in his stream he didn't blocked them. he thinks that those 'commedators' have rights to critics him. once at the end of DID custom match after he disconnected the discord, he picked up a critic and talked about it to the listeners and commedators (when he was criticized that he should just shut up and listen to kuzuha-san's order). but for haters/spams, he lets them be and waits excitedly just to see how long do they last. kinda proud of soraru-san's and his listeners' 'through skill', if you see when his stream got spams or haters in the chat, neither of them care or talking about it; i believe soraru-san read it but he rarely blocked them, so listeners just silently blocked/report it themselves. by this i just want to say to international listeners, if you come to soraru-san's (or maybe anyone's) stream, please follow each streamers chat rule and not making more ruckus just because of spam/haters, or making direct conversation in the chat column.

Here some explanation(i copy it from someone and change it a little so you can understand the context) about Mafumafu's past. I will give the source at the end. Ok, here's what I understand of the situation. Back when Mafu was first starting out as a singer, he was very trusting and gave out his personal information and showed his face a lot. When he got more popular, people began to literally stalk him. Showing up at his house at odd hours, coming to his college to follow him around, stuff like that. He was terrified. He ended up moving at least 3 times iirc and pretty much refused to leave the house. Some Mafumafu's songs were stolen. The person who stole his songs was a producer who spread rumors to make mafu and some of his friends turn on each other in addition to taking credit for their work. Terrible things happened during this time, including people kicking down his door and physically dragging him from his bed and into the street. Things changed for him when he met Soraru. In mafu's blog post about this, he said "Unable to overcome a part of this incident, wrecked by the spite and violence, swallowed by despair, the one who reached out his hand to me was Soraru-san." Soraru stood up to the person responsible for hurting him and promised to protect Mafu from any harm. I guess that first online celebrity APEX tournament back then is the start of this downhill ride. It invites more viewers but it also invites more people like that. I’m so sad. I love these guys and it just pisses me off that these people do these kind of things. Little off topic, but I’ve seen eng chat spam and not listen to chat rules a lot lately. Of course this is because vtubers are becoming more popular so foreigners don’t know how Japanese etiquette is different from western ones (I cringe at my past chat sins myself) but I’ve noticed most new people get offended when they are informed of the rules. And it starts an eng chat war.
