They’re people that sings anime, games of vocaloid songs popular ones are mafumafu (the white guy in the video) Yuu Miyashashita ,nqrse , Ado and many more

Basically just singers however the main differentiator is that they mainly cover pre-existing songs. Eventually they start making their own songs and going beyond just doing covers, even getting as big as the likes of our guests here.

@@_Iemonboy. my brain loaded too. i thought of looking it up in a dictionary and it translates 歌い手 as simply "singer", so i decided to google the term in japanese and one of the first things that came up was a japanese explanation for it that basically says "someone who makes covers of existing songs and has live broadcasts which also include casual chats" so basically i think its a cross between cover artist and live streamer/influencer
