Her story is so sad, as a similar situation happened with Nu'est. Bad promotions, no promotions, they start off giving them all the attention and focus before letting things run off the tracks. Then, rather than admit their errors as a company, they just throw money into their next project and leave a perfectly good group fighting for the scraps. For the boys, it went from Nu'est over to Seventeen. For the girls, it went from After School to Pledis Girls (now Pristin). The thing that makes all this worse is that all FOUR of those groups are talented and deserving of the full attention of their company, so it's even more frustrating when you try to understand why they would just leave the former groups to slowly fade away. The only reason Nu'est is getting any love from their company now is due to their own efforts after going through the degrading process of them going on Produce 101- I don't mean the show is bad, but we all know how sad it was for them as seasoned veterans to have to do that. Now she's facing the same challenge, so one can only hope she'll have good support from fans behind her, or she'll at least get decent screen time. If not, I think we can safely, and sadly, say that this could be her very last chance.

In the first reveal of the Top 12, she's #5 so that's wonderful! To be fair, Pledis isn't the only company known to mismanage at times. Hell, even the Big 3 have been known to screw up with groups here and there, with people who loved them and wanted to see them comeback being forced to wait indefinitely (Fx is a good example of this). However, I think what gets me and probably many other people so frustrated is that the rug was seemingly ripped out from under groups like Nu'est and After School when everything was seemingly going well. So, HOPEFULLY, she'll keep this momentum going and people will continue to support her. Her story may be sad, but the talent, charisma and visuals are CLEARLY there, so she deserves a chance.

Well, i am a playboyz (afterschool fandom) since Afterschool debut, kahi is the 1st generation and kaeun is 5th generation, kahi smiled but she literally crying inside. Even kahi never promote album with kaeun, but ikr she also feel sorry and sad, because it is her own group. As a playboyz, i always waiting afterschool to comeback, year by year past but they didnt comeback, and the member graduated one by one, jungah graduated because of getting married, uee graduated to focus on drama career (fyi, uee is a main role of MANHOLE drama with jaejoong jyj and baro b1a4), jooyeon also graduated then join a new agency, lizzy also graduated (lizzy said, she also waiting for a comeback, but pledis dont have enough money). Now, afterschool members are : Raina ( focus on solo career, her last album with aron nuest ), Nana (also focus on solo career ), Eyoung (doing nothing, she is also underrated just like kaeun, fyi. She is so damn talented, she can sing dance and plays piano,guitar,drum,flute,and so on). And the maknae is kaeun. I hope she can debut again. Actually, when kaeun did an instagram live.. i always asked about when afterschool comeback, and she sad after reading my question. Please help her to achieve her unfulfilled dream. She loves sing on the stage, she is kind (she often like her fans comments and reply it on instagram)

As bad as it sounds I was rooting more for the top 13-35 girls rather than the girls that actually made it to the top 12. But looking at it now, all my favs (Gaeun, Miru, Sian, Go Yujin, Sihyun, Yiren, Hayeoon) wouldn't fit the final group concept at all :( the group was never meant to be a girl crush concept so pretty much as much as I'd want one of my favs to make it to the final lineup, they would stand out, but not in a good way.

+Mia Harris Kahi is the lady next to the one (with the brown coat over her shoulders) who leans over to ask her a question regarding her relationship to Kaeun (the one that was interviewed and performed). Kahi is part of the original lineup of the girl KPOP group called After School. Since Kaeun debuted before already (like how Nuest members debuted before) they were wondering what made her come to a survival show like Produce and if there were any thoughts or planned activity for her group. She replied thinking that maybe the group was disbanded if her CEO allowed her to appear on the show (it was worded quite odd but it's along that line of thought for her). Kahi (being a former member of AS) was questioned if she knew her personally but Kahi responded that she didn't know her well since Kaeun joined after she left the group. People are just curious as to what is going on with After School since there was no formal announcement of disbandment.

I think Kahi and Kaeun have a stronger bond then showed. Kahi left After School to pursue her solo career, and helped pick Kaeun as her replacement in After School. And for Kahi to have picked her out, just to see the poor management leading to After School being forgotten... is heart breaking. Imagine how this must feel for Kahi, she joined the company when it was just 3 staff managers, her, Jungah, and Son Dambi. She basically built the company to something great... and this is the thanks she gets. She gets to see the girls she basically helped raise (Nana, Lizzy, E-Young, Bekah, and Kaeun all joined the group when they were around the age of 16 or 17) be lead away from music, and gets to see instead groups like Pristin and Seventeen take the spots of artists that are known to have come from Pledis. And Pledis had the chance to bring After School back, after Nayoung and Kyulkyung debuted in I. O. I, many thought (and some sources said) Pledis may add them, or the other girls to After School. It didn't happen. And what is really funny is that Xiyeon of all people should have gone to After School. She joined the company after After School released "Diva," and was trained by Bekah and Kahi to one day be in After School, she is even featured in the "Bang," music video. Idk I can go on about Pledis but I'm gonna stop. (DISCLAIMER: I LOVE PRISTIN AND SEVENTEEN... IT JUST URKES ME HOW PLEDIS DID AFTER SCHOOL DIRTY)

But you have to keep in mind that Pledis was in the verge of bankruptcy. Even though they still have a source of income, it was still not enough to give AS another comeback since they're also paying the staffs and now that they have enough money, it would still be hard to give them a comeback knowing that only few people would support AS. I understand you but the Pledis now is different and i wish people would stop complaining about the past. If AS members are really treated badly, they would've left but no they did not instead they renewed their contract. For the meantime let's just wait. Even though we've waited for so long, Pledis just got back to its former glory and I'm pretty sure that AS would get reversal.

Nycrean Actually after After School's last album Pledis got a substantial amount of money. Also in 2013 they signed a joint contract with Yuehua, thus allowing some Pledis actors to work in china. And Pledis had enough money to debut a 13 member boy group, and once said boy group debuted and became popular and earned them money, pledis still didnt do anything with After School... not trying to start anything but...

Gaeun made it to final top12, and Mnet has stolen her dream. It’s not as Chowon case, who was 16 when the scandal was revealed. It was her last chance of being an idol and I think she felt worst when her rank was revealed…I’m glad someone like me is still mad. Firstly, no, Yunjin is not a replacement for Kyla. Kyla still has a contract and her sister already said she'll go back to Korea to rejoin Pristin eventually. Secondly, Pledis has opened worldwide audition for more than a year now, and Yunjin was picked from it, since she has like 4-6 months of training. Thirdly, Kaeun is with AS and AS is dead for who knows how long, yet she's here. They wouldn't bring her back without a purpose. Imo, they're gonna revamp After School, adding new members and ending this god forsaken idea of graduation system. But my guess is that they don't have plans for it so soon, as the final group of P48 will promote for more than two years. Kaeun is more known than Yunjin and will obv get the sad situation+KR center boost, so I think she may end up debuting alone. If this happens, Yunjin can come back to training and by the time Kaeun comes back, she'll have 2+ years of training and the distance between Pristin's debut and this AS revamp will be bigger. That seems more reasonable to me.

When I watch the PR video of Yunjin, I think she has the great potential: visual, english, vocal, dance ( i havent watched her dance but she comes from Pledis so she must be good at dance). But this cut video makes me so mad because Mnet barely pays attention to her and gives her not much time on the screen. However, this performance is perfect. Their vocals are so stable, their dance is good and they didnt make any false. #HEOYUNJIN_FIGHTING

It's sad that because of the situation they didn't give Yunjin enough screentime. Yunjin has stability and a pretty voice, she's a decent dancer for a trainee of 6 months, she got the gestures and facial expressions right for the performance, she has the looks, she also has a sweet and charming personality. She's totally idol material. I also can't believe she only got a C. She deserved a B at least. I'll continue supporting her though. She'd have my vote if I could vote.

kaeun was trying so hard not to cry. i think she really really didn't want people to pity her, she sees this as a opportunity to show her talents, prove herself and i'm sure she will. she was my 2nd bias in after school and it's so obvious she has a lot to show i hope mnet shows that and don't just portray her as the "failed idol" because there is more about kaeun the world needs to see. now about yunjin; did you all hear that vocals? that voice control? and see that pretty face? the proportions? her dancing? she has everything to get to the a team. mnet clearly wanted to show kaeun's harships but i think that won't stop yunjin of showing her own charms. i'll be supporting both of them and just see what happens

There's so many reasons why I love Leader Kaeun, but my number one reason is because she is always making sure everyone else knows that they're doing ok, she's always everyone's cheerleader, like after she got an A and yunjin didn't, she let her know she did good she said " you know you did good too right? You were good." And while I wish she would have been a litte more selfish earlier on I jist know she'll make the best leader for this new group. 이가은 Fighting 💖💖 Update: actually crying because of her not making it. She was genuinely so sad hugging yena and yunjin. I'm honestly very sad about this. She didn't deserve this. She's worked so hard and while I'm so happy chaeyeon made it, because chaeyeon totally deserved a spot and honestly everyone can admitt that she does. I really wish they both could have. Since it seems that Kaeun already has a lot of people rooting for her (me included), I'll have to persuade y'all to support Yoonjin too because: - She has a nice voice (I can't stop replaying her introduction video where she sings la vie en rose with an ukulele) - she's seems to have a really funky and nice personality. I can't stop laughing when she said in the 1st episode "If I was in that condition (only the 1st seat is left) I'll just sit on the floor". And when Kaeun get the A class, she's so supportive of her, telling her that she did well and she deserved it. - She have only trained for 5 months in Pledis but her dance and vocal control technique is already quite polished. She will develop A LOT during the show, I'm sure of it - She's really pretty. Her face just glows - She can speak english That's all I can think of for now, let's give Yoonjin lots of love!! 😍😍
