I got Anker PowerPort Atom III slim from an acquaintance. So I will disassemble and explain.
This USB charger uses gallium nitride (GaN) transistors. Most conventional USB chargers use Si-MOSFETs. However, with the widespread use of large-capacity rechargeable batteries, the demand for rapid charging of large electric power is increasing. The drawback of high-power chargers using Si-MOSFETs is their large size. There is a way to use GaN transistor instead of Si-MOSFET to solve the problem of large size. As a result, high power can be achieved without increasing the size of the charger.
