I have a suggestion if you think it is applicable. The foil box needs to be poked into holy. So the pork fat during the cook will go down through the holes. Otherwise, the fat creates a deep-fry process in the foil, which makes the meat dry.

Air-Fryer is basically just a small oven. However, the heat distribution is a bit better than in a big oven. I would try to use the same temperature, but maybe increase the time for 10-20 minutes. Make sure to use convection (fan assisted heat) setting of your oven!

Why didn’t you use a fork to pierce the pork belly? A fork with long tines will work well for the job. You have suffered! Thank you for sharing this video though. Now I know one more reason for using my air fryer! Will definitely try this recipe.
