When it pays at all, Spotify pays .00397/stream. The courts have found it guilty of chronic copyright infringement and it has to date paid nearly $50 million for ripping off musicians, while arguing in court (unsuccessfully) it needn’t pay artists at all.

We should be able to create playlists as artists. Otherwise it's pointless. I wanna share playlists I created, but then people are gonna go follow me as user and not my artist page :-(

There should be an option like the KZbin artist channels where you're able to merge an officlal artist profile to your personal user page. They're halfway there with the Spotify for Artists tools, but having to use a separate user page to link a playlist seems like a huge blindspot which could possibly lead to confusion.
