Just out of curiosity! What does it mean if the oil smells like gas? Does that mean gas is getting into the oil cuz of a bad seal? Another question: what’s it mean when I start my moped up an I smell gas or sometime oil???

I get drops/very slow leak of gear oil in my overflow tube. Does that mean my transmission case is overfilled?

It might be. Remove the fill plug and see if anything drains out.

Do you really have to remove both bolts for the engine oil. I thought you only had to remove the one with the screen in it?

I didn't even know it had a screen

Not really, the regular bolt on the side is enough, I normally remove that and tip the scooter to drain any left.over oil. Every other change I open and clean screen.

this looks exactly like my Shanghai JMStar. the label next to the engine oil drain plug says to use GL-3 gear oil!!! WTF!!! you and other vids show add engine oil!!!

My 150 is nothing like this LOL.... I guess my scooter is a little bit older but it's a 2008 it's much bigger also maybe because it's the big wheel it has 16 inch supermoto tires basically road tires but could be swapped onto a dirt bike anyways point being I can't believe all Chinese 150 GY6 is or not the same but when I looked up the drain plug it came right up the wildest dream plug is in the video is exactly like my Ninja 650 with the same size and everything
