Year: 1929
Tyler opens up about his time before Sodor, detailing how it wasn't the best experience in his life, and that he doesn't want do go back. Edward comforts Tyler, to which he becomes Tyler’s therapist. Eventually, Tyler has to go back, but since his section is in need of some more motive power, Edward goes along with him on loan. However, it's later revealed that the whole arrangement was a lot more schemy then what they initially thought

Mine too. The writing and plot in it is so brilliant, and dare I say very relatable, in terms of real economic tiants of justice cases told into a Railway Series story based on what would happen in actuality. A real working railroad company or two would have confrontations with other from any action of legally-contracted service grievances, and they really would take the issue like how adults normally settle things: in court. Wilbert Awdry would've came up with something as top-notch as this engine arrival video, only conveyed in another one of his Railway Series books.

Man, the elemental plot and writing in this episode is just super brilliant. I wish there were more Railway Series-related meta stories like one of these. Think of how wonderful it woulda looked illustrated and published as part of the books. But, the art of railroading created and simulated in Train Simulator modules are what makes the franchise of both the book stories and the TV show series all worth while adaptated into form of content to keeping it alive and thriving, and worth while watching. I love me this episode, and what it relates to.

I especially like Edward and Toby's designs. The Furness K2 "Seagull" is quite a good-looker. The 4-4-0s tender engines are my favorite wheel class configurations of steam locomotives in the world. And of course the wooden steam tram engines are absolutely the coolest things that I've seen - Love to watch Train Simulator videos of 'em to gain my peaceful interest of such, and on the subject of railroading too.
