Wow! That 3rd gen of yours is more of a show piece now. These are really becoming rare and a classic! Good job on keeping your ride fresh. Take care bro!

I chased an oil leak for years and it ended up being an oil cooler o-ring that dried up & cracked. On a 4x4, you have to remove the driver side wheel & go in from the wheel well.

Nice work on the engine detail! I keep my ‘97 engine clean as well. I like the red valve covers! Really gives the engine bay a custom look. So glad I found your channel!

Great job Bro! Your attention to detail and relentless pursuit of perfection is amazing. I’m the original owner of a 99 limited 4x4 silver runner with 138k miles. It’s in great shape but yours is at another level! My fenders need repainted. I don’t have your level of motivation so will Be looking to get that quoted. Did you happen to check prices for a body shop to repaint it? If so! How much? You’re the man!

Are those red pieces on the engine painted yourself or did you replace em?

Check the play list. I painted them wrinkle red.

@@SpeedysGarage My hoodliner was just rotted and I didn't want to use it anymore so I used dynamat. Really don't love the silver look, so thought your idea of spraying the liner, just for a black overlay was brilliant. Never thought of painting it. I used that on my dynamat. Came out perfect. Thanks!

Any plans for a manual swap?

I SERIOUSLY looked in to that. With mine being a 2002 and all the computer, VSC, etc issues I abandoned the idea. I couldn't live with a CEL.
