Hey Speedy! My scat pack was stolen July 29 a few days before yours. I hope you’re hanging in there. I recovered my car 4.5hrs later and am still waiting for repairs. But this experience changes you. It’s a sad feeling that makes you untrusting of everyone and the world. And it also brings you down deeply when you think about it. My brother went through the same thing in 2020 when his 2010 Camaro 2SS was stolen. I wish the best for you and your family and I hope this will just be a minor memory in the future.

I had a nearly identical scenario on a Ford Exploder that I was digging into to replace a few cluster lights, using a generic plastic polish (two grades), I was able to get to 99% on what was a VERY scratched/hazed lens. Once reinstalled, you couldn't tell at all that it wasn't new. Still upset about that other thing, thinking about you and it still.

I have a dead fly inside of the instrument cluster behind the lens cover. Don’t know how the fly got in there. This video shows me how to take the cluster and lens cover off and take out the fly. Thanks

Ah the cursed fly seems to make its way into any Toyota gauge cluster haha. My Tacoma had the same problem for a while until I got rid of it when I changed all the cluster lights to LED.

Not 100% Sure if it would work. But the 01-04 Tacoma cluster had the windshield washer sensor and cluster light. Wonder if an old Taco cluster could be harvested and retro fit to a 3G4R
