Casey Putsch offers to mentor a bright young man on automotive engineering to help get him into a mechanical engineering school by finishing the IndyCar Honda K series engine build together. Today they go through AN fittings and make oil system hoses and lines for the engine and show the work in completing the structural work of the car and engine swap.

It ain’t “lazy”, to facilitate working smarter, not harder… Then there’s the resulting benefits of efficiency, for reduced task complexity. Personally think he ought to consider one of the full time high performance automotive focused trade schools, before pursuing a engineering degree. Things are way easier to learn, if you can see application to the lessons.

Oh cool a k engine. I had a 2011 Civic for like 4 years and know of the k series because everyone was ALWAYS asking me about it. I didn't really get what the big deal was. But I loooooved my car
