I drove two hours to my nearest HD dealership…. They had one sensor left for my 2011 HD softail deluxe. Figured since I went all that way… might get as well change my spark plugs and wires. So purchased those as well as shift linkage I been meaning to change out before it leaves me stranded somewhere for lack of preventative maintenance lol hooah!

@DennieDiFilippo-hg9mn i’m getting ready to change my shift rod for my shift linkage in about a week. I too still have the stock one on my bike. I think it’s a really good upgrade to make, they do fail.

I’ve got the 03 Heritage Softail Classic and I had to replace my sensor,the bike would get warm and stall,it threw no codes at all,took a minute to figure out what it could be

Mine not throwing codes mine won't start when engine warm

@@josephnagle3852 I never had that issue. It just wouldn’t start up when it was cold. I had to try and start it over 5 to 10 times👊🏻 thanks for the watch and support 👊🏻

Would this sensor cause my bike to have a knocking sounds from front cylinder ? I was on fwy and then out of nowhere bike started bogging out and lost all power luckily I made it to off ramp . But then bike started having a knocking sounds when I started it

@@edp9517 the bogging is possible yes, as far as a knock I’m not so sure about that. It could definitely send your bike into limp mode, I believe. I just had an issue with limp mode myself but it was due to my throttle by wire wiring at the throttle body.

Was just at the HDs for oil, told parts guy i had to replace my 2013 dyna front motor mount, he said thats one of the reasons they stopped makin dynas. Now they need to get rid of that auto chain adjuster POS.@@STIFFRIDES

@@paullee4042 I had a 2004 Dyna wide glide. Absolutely loved that bike. It was my second Harley Davidson. But that model had some serious issues, and I dealt with all of them. I know exactly how you feel. Harley Davidson tell the day I die, but damn with all of the issues that pop up.

What symptoms did the bike exhibit, or was it just the code?

@loansharky the bike was hesitant to start, and would just continuously turnover trying to start. Once I changed the temperature sensor it started right up. It now starts now without issue.
