Looks like quite the job, good stuff Sean. 😁👍 Me, I help the dealers and their pro techs put their kids through college 😅 😂 but mainly because I'd be scratching my head wondering why I always would have a couple washers, 3 or 4 bolts, and a 1 or 2 nuts leftover after re-assembky 🤔😳😆🤣

Doesn't look like that hard of a job at all. I meant to say in the other video I need to get that chain stopper tool you got as i can see how useful it is. Good job again.
@Ucmpigs11 ай бұрын
Yeah man. Got it off Amazon for $8. It’s just hard plastic. I was thinking you could probably make one with a jig saw and some hardwood.

Good job mate. Tackling mine now, a 14 Lowrider. Stuffed at the start so far by 3 rung screws on the Barnett clutch spring for goodness sake! Crap alloy screws. Just a question. Were you able to buy the gaskets as a set or do you buy them separately?
@Ucmpigs4 ай бұрын
Thanks! Good luck! I did get a set however the Derby Cover gasket did not fit. I ended up getting a HD one from the dealer.

Well, to be honest it was price for me. I’ve been running it for just about a year and appears to be working as it should. It was identical to the stock one.

Im confused, why didn’t you have to chance the snap ring circlips? Did you change the bearing?
@UcmpigsАй бұрын
@@tennesseebound6597 are you talking about the inner primary bearing? I replaced the clip rings. They come in the seal kit. The bearing was fine.
@tennesseebound6597Ай бұрын
@@Ucmpigs yes, I didn’t understand why you would need to change the clip rings is all since you did not mess with the Bearing. Was kinda confused, I understand no harm just curious why they would even include them, thank you my friend, just came across your channel. Awesome content.
@UcmpigsАй бұрын
@@tennesseebound6597 thank you. Yeah, I spoke with the owner of the shop I purchased my parts from. He told me if the bearing was fine just to replace the seal. It had the new clips. Thanks for watching.

How did you get the starter removed without taking the oil pan out?
@Ucmpigs6 ай бұрын
Not sure I’m following you. Oil pan is on bottom of bike. I had to remove the dip stick to wiggle it out. Just enough to remove the inner primary.

What loctite is recommended please?
@Ucmpigs2 күн бұрын
For what? The primary cover fasteners I believe are LOCTITIE 243 medium and the clutch hub main shaft nut is LOCTITE 262 high strength. Check your shop manual.
