@@Synthwave89 Yea, in Aerospace the welds have to be virtually invisible. Any irregularity or bump is a friction point that will heat up on re-entry. Something you want to avoid.

if you have perfect fit-up with thin stainless, you can tig weld it without adding filler rod. It's called fusion welding, and if done right, you get welds that look like this.

Having custom exhaust built is truly a dying art. I ran/ worked in a custom shop for over 20 years. Built hundreds of one off systems. The quality of this man's work is definitely top tier. And to have a system built to that caliber with those materials is way beyond what the average consumer is expecting to pay. You certainly picked the right person to build that exhaust Sarah. Forrest did an amazing job on that exhaust system. Having worked in the aerospace industry for several decades, it's easy to see where his attention to detail comes from. Kudos to Charlie on the execution of the oil pan mod to clear the front sway bar.
