@@Synthwave89 Yea, in Aerospace the welds have to be virtually invisible. Any irregularity or bump is a friction point that will heat up on re-entry. Something you want to avoid.

if you have perfect fit-up with thin stainless, you can tig weld it without adding filler rod. It's called fusion welding, and if done right, you get welds that look like this.

Having custom exhaust built is truly a dying art. I ran/ worked in a custom shop for over 20 years. Built hundreds of one off systems. The quality of this man's work is definitely top tier. And to have a system built to that caliber with those materials is way beyond what the average consumer is expecting to pay. You certainly picked the right person to build that exhaust Sarah. Well done.

Love seeing a master of his craft. Forest is an exceptional welder. The oil pan Charlie came up with is awesome as usual. I’m gonna be kinda sad when this build is over.

Forrest did an amazing job on that exhaust system. Having worked in the aerospace industry for several decades, it's easy to see where his attention to detail comes from. Kudos to Charlie on the execution of the oil pan mod to clear the front sway bar.

Master Welder Forrest and Sarah collaborated to produce one of the top world class exhaust systems available on the planet. The cost of which is four times the initial retail cost of this little toy bubble. Money well spent.

Durometer rating, just like on my roller skate wheels from the 70s! I can’t stop 🛑, Sarah you always make jokes and here I go, “Sarah do you want to jump on it again” says the SpaceX welder. Just too funny, then watching you do it with such enthusiasm. This was my favorite video of yours so far.

I scoffed somewhat when you said you couldn't do the welding on the exhaust to a high enough standard. Then I saw what Forrest produced. You were quite correct. The skills that some folks possess is just beyond comprehension. What a beautiful result.

What a lovely cap to my day! Just found out that a year’s worth of work and two years of planning came to fruition. I’m a violin maker and just found out that I was awarded certificates of tone for a quartet and a viola I made in an international competition. This video was a cherry on top!

This car needs to not only win multiple sema awards but a gran turismo award as well, its such a mind blowing, beautiful construction. Sarah you're building a masterpiece and I cannot wait to see your review of it once you're done!!!
