For mentioning feet and inches you can just type as (feet'inches). For example 14 feet 7 inches can be typed as 14'7. No need to complicate by typing 14+7/12.

You don't have to change the units every time on the bottom right. you can just mention the units after the value for example 250mm and the software automatically calculates the value in selected unit

You need not provide grid spacing as "11+7/12". It can be simply written as 11'7", also without converting the units to Kip,ft,F.
