I disagree with your review bro. I purchased Lg 1.5 ton 3 star AC but cooling was very low and AC dint reflect for my room. Then Lg technician advised to buy lg 1.5 ton 5 star then room was cooling. I asked the same. 5* ac has more capacity and size of the indoor is huge.

EB tariff will change if we consume more units per billing cycle . For eg : if power consumption increases above 1000units then the price of one unit power will be more. If we consider this scenario it's always best to buy AC with higher star rating . In most of the houses AC will be on atleast 7hours not 4 hours .

More the usage, more the savings. If it is in bedroom it will definitely run more than 4 hours. For me most of the time units will be more than 1200..so for me avg 10₹ unit..for me approx calculation is 1200-1500₹ save per eb bill. Most importantly now the difference between 3 and 5 star is 4-6000₹. So for me can be recovered in 3 to 4 eb bills. Light usage 3 star, more than 6-8 hours per day 5 star

They are saying that ac will manage voltage flactuations but in KZbin technicians saying to add external stabilizer, so I am confused

@@JoyfulSailingShip-uy4ed I recommend to use external stabilizer, because 2 years back there was frequent power cut within few minutes (within 1 minute three times power off and on), some burst sound came then stabilizer got fault, I am using vgaurd 400, good thing is stabilizer was in warranty period, so I got repaired, If it wouldn't there, it might damage my AC, its my personal view, please confirm with other experts also

school teachers mostly come and read whatever is there in the book and go. That any student can do on their own itself. To teach someone, we need to have the complete understanding of the subject ourselves first. I feel that is lacking in school teachers. The reason being, they themselves come from bookish knowledge based education, next in schools/colleges, these are the same staff used to perform bureaucratic works as well. So the only thing they have the time to do is ready textbooks and call that teaching.

What he was trying to say is, if u purchase a 5star ac with 10k higher than the 3star and your ac usage is just for 4hrs or 5hrs less, then the xtra amount(10k xtra for 5star) which u paid for the ac will become profitable only after 5yrs of usage. Becoz, summer liye 4-5hrs dhan use pannaka then winter la it'll be less than ur summer usage. Therefore, 5yrs ku aprm dhan neenga pota 10k amount ac oda value varum.

And after that five years, we'll get wear and tear of AC. So, u need to pay high for that ac maintenance, repair work to get it's initial cooling capacity. Only ppl with 8hrs of usage will get their 10k profit within 2-3yr. For them, they'll be having two profits:- 1) less billing , 2) pota 10k kaasu within 3yrs la satisfy aagi next yr la irundhu avangaluku xtra-va ac profit oda work agum. And for them, after 3yrs if their ac gets repaired, maintenance or repair mattum dhan xtra charge. Billings less and purchase cost satisfaction ellame will be their profit.

If ur asking in terms of its internal components then yes! There will be some cost diff between these 5star and low star rated AC ( as the entire design of 5 star is different from low star rate due to its high usage of copper, high refrigerant and less condenser work). Filter cleaning can be done by urself.

@@Esther-gy1ns I have not owned AC for a long time so as of now only filter cleaning is going on but I assume we will need to replace or refill refrigerant after a while. In that case what would be the cost and how long will the refrigerant last to identify the difference. If there's anything else like refrigerant that would need to be replaced then need a bit of explanation there too. Thank you for taking your time to reply to my comment 🙂

You have completely underestimated the usage of AC/day as 4 hours. We can take 4 hours on average throughout the year as the usage exceeds 12+ hours in summers and near to 0 hours on winters. In this case, it is beneficial to take a 5 Star AC and an average lifespan of an AC is 10+ years. So 3856*7 Years = Rs. 26,992 Saved in the lifespan and more to come.

I bought a sanyo 5 star ac 2021 model in Dec two years ago(2022) for rs.27000.00 and no cost EMI of 12 months . So for me it is completely profitable. Because now 3 stars ac is 35000.00 and 5 star ac is 45000.00

Your calculations with RS 8 per unit does not make sense.. Most EB including TNEB has slabs... 495 units is under 6 RS slab and 505 unit is under 8 RS slab... Even 10 units increase will inflates the bill by 1270 rs...
