Hey @electropentatonic, IMHO it has the bass, more than you will ever need and for a 25 watt HUGE amounts of bass that make it sound much larger than it is. In fact LOVE the sound of the FB25. It's a killer amp and my fave low watt amp of all time. However there is a reason I bought the 100. The punch! hope that helps

ha ha thank you so much for the kind words. I can't remember, I always put what was used in the description, so I can look back, probably either Two Notes Captor X or Mesa 2x12 cab. Hope that helps,
