Any dog with a smushed-in face is going to have trouble in the heat. Pugs, English bulldogs, French bulldogs, etc. You just don't do it. I wish people did even the minimum research possible before getting a dog, whether a purebred or a rescue mutt from the animal shelter.

Another dog owner who can't seem to keep the dogs at home. Back in the 90s and 2000s, you barely saw dogs. Nowadays, these people can't seem to go anywhere without their dog, it's a mental issue. Walk your dog and feed your dog before you leave the house. Your dog doesn't have to go to the birthday party, the grocery store, gym, the etc;

Not only does she know dogs cause she’s had small dogs her entire life, but she probably did a fair amount of research before starting the case because most judges tend to do some research regarding situations that build around the case

As someone who owns bulldogs.. they need extra protection from heat as their faces are pushed in and this makes it hard for them to breath and this makes them more likely to get heat illness. ALWAYS keep them in the shade and provide water. Stale hot air is the enemy of breeds like bulldogs and pugs. Shorter muzzles means less tolerate of heat and extra care needed.

@intensepassion3382 no, brachycephalic dogs are any that have a 'flat' face. Even if crossbred, if there's a flat face, they're at risk. English and American Bulldogs are the most prominent , but there are others.They typically have narrower nasal and throat passages that make it more difficult to cool down, as dogs do by panting. Look up brachycephalic dogs and you'll see a list. They just cannot handle the heat like other dogs 🙏

I was getting married, and my dogs got out of the yard at our Airbnb. We almost canceled our wedding because I couldn't find them. An hour before, someone found and returned them because she saw me walking around the neighborhood yelling their names. When I saw them in the car, Riley looked so ashamed, and Bella was carefree. Bella was definitely the culprit. Riley wouldn't let her go alone, so he always went along with her shenanigans.

Effin people. Smart people Watch out for Themselves first, now in this day and age. Smart people ALWAYS prepare for the worst/the dumbest. I ALWAYS have a high-quality audio recorder on my person at all times. If I was the Defendant in this situation, I would Record EVERY CONVERSATION with a stranger in this situation. I would memorialize their disposition and manner in the moment, because we know ignorant/desperate people will always change up their story months/years later in court in order to feign victimhood...so Record them In the Moment to display to authorities that their current stance on the case is a complete 180 degree turn from their inherent stance.
