The actual truth is that most bulldogs are full blown guard dogs ferocious brave hearts. I find the bulldog breed to be one of the only breeds in the world willing to fight alongside you completely untrained and not back down or quit.

My EB had the typical breed temperament... laid back and friendly, but stubborn and unfazed by anything. He went nuts when someone came to the door, just being sociable but anyone who didn't know better might think he was being aggressive. Like most EBs he was great with kids and was quite protective of our child, he chased a goat across a field when it tried to headbutt her. And for anyone thinks those heavy jaws are just for show, just see how it feels when they trap your finger while you're fighting over the same stick. EXTREME Ouch!!!

I see you keep your buddy fit. I do the same thing with my girl. Even if she's now grown up she can manage to walk 8 kilometers a day and she won't be exhausted. She got great stamina. She is also really active at home because she got huge garden to run around everyday. Do you use some special diet for your dog? Mine is eating regular dog food made of fishmeat or beef(she's alergic to chicken) and she also likes to snack some fruits and vegetables during a day(apples, bananas, carrots or even raw pickles or raspberries from our garden)

A properly trained English bulldog is one of the best guard dogs imaginable. Pound for pound, an English bulldog is one of (if not the) strongest animals GOD has ever created. If you don't believe me, there are a plethora of videos on KZbin showing English bulldogs pulling 40 ton semis, 80 ton locomotives and (in at least one case) pulling a 200 ton 747! Mind you, they did so with their mouths!!! I don't know about any of y'all but I'd rather get into a fight with any other animal on Earth than one with that level of proportional power!
